y34 grillz....

Bought a gloria grill of YAJ.... Apparently there are different front ends.... Oh well.  $88 down the hole...


What from Japan land fits our m45s??

I don't think anything fits.  The cedric and gloria basically have the same front end just different appearance where as the US M45 is different in shape.  The Stock grill looks nice IMO

theres a board member here with a y34 that did a custom front as well. its basically the small difference in the grill, headlights, and bumper.

in your situation, i believe you can cut and mold the bumper to fit the larger grill.

i believe you need to change the headlights along with the grill in order for them to fit. if you can find some headlights that match the model grill you should be ok.

Due to the different shape of the headlights, I had to take a JP billet grill, mold the bottom portion of the frame to the top portion of the stock frame in order to fit.

Wow and I thought F50 was a challenge to mod.  At least the Zenki or Kouki grill bolts right up on F50!  Good luck

that sucks that it isnt a direct fit.  hopefully your able to work something out from it though. custom just like your Y33 grill

Anyone have a lead on a cheap spare OEM front grill?? As long as it isnt cracked in a major way I am interested.

It will make a nice table ornament at its best unless you are converting your entire front end over.  I have one sitting on my dining room table.  ;)

You have to because that grill will not fit the USDM headlights.

We shall see... The y34 body sits silly high... I like to be silly low!! I dont know if ill be able to get low enough without tucking.  Not feeling like building crazy fenders... yet...

Ive tried looking for pics of M45's  that has that style but like you said most if not all have to have the wheels tuck to get low.

so in order to use that grill. you have to swap out the lights and front bumper?? is the USDM hood fit the grill though???

You need the headlights, grill and front bumper to make it work. I think you would need to loose the bumper reinforcements that are under the bumper too. The hood works.

So wait does this mean the other style of headlights won't fit in the US M45? I would be a very sad panda if that was true.

They will only work if you have the Matching JDM grill and bumper.

So if you use a JDM bumper you can/have to use a JDM grill? What about putting JDM headlights in a M45?

The JDM bumper, grill and headlights.  If you use one, you have to use all 3.

^ K thanks, what about the hood? Is the US hood straight or will a molded strip be needed like on actolex's danky M?
