You're going to need to put a heat shield over the turbine exhaust housing..otherwise its going to tax the hell out of your radiator...might want to heat wrap the turbine exhaust piping as well all the way down to the ground. The heat shield will also keep it looking a hell of a lot better than a rusting exhaust housing..haha. Coming along fresh though man...did you [B]have[/B] to get a huge ass GTR core? Hahaha...

Those supra dudes are gonna be tripping come this March :-) The exhaust housing as well as all the exhaust piping minus the actual down pipe will be polydine coated then heat wraped. The LS430s with boost are all supercharged with around a 6-7psi pulley. I know we will boost it around 7-8psi which should put down around 150+ horse to the wheels which should put me over the 400 mark. I know the block is capable of doing upwards of 10-12psi on stock internals, but I really dont want to risk it. Ill go crazi with the psi once I get my internals done.

You'll be packin' a punch for sure, even though these cars are heavy, they are quick too. The 3UZ is no joke in stock form...with this...you'll be able to keep up with some quick cars.

Sorry, no updates so far. Just boring wiring. All my parts are currently getting Polydyn heat coated for both protection and performance. Im also polishing and chroming some engine components as well, so it will be about 1-2 weeks before I get them back. Once I have them, it should only take another 2-3 weeks for fuel and testing + tuning. My plan is to unveil at HIN Austin 4/11.

Well... the first time I thought I drilled it into the stud, turns out I didn't, later that night it pulled out of the wall, let me tell you... the sound of a 20x11 wheel falling on the ground from 4' is pretty damn loud. Then I got these drywall anchors but they didn't work either. Finally I got a stud finder and just drilled it in with a huge drywall screw.

My car made it to your hallway wall..... Wow.... Hahaha!!! And I have been watching this build since the beginning. Although my need for speed has subsided a lot since coming to the VIP crowd this car is just sick!!!
The car is completely taken apart. Lots of things needed to be taken care of before I show the car. Trunk needs to be finished, bumper needs to be cut up and fitted, side skirts needed repainting, all the interior needs to be put back together, and the motor pieces need to be cleaned up. Im still waiting on my custom intake manifold to be made, which should be ready in the next couple months. Hopefully I will have the car ready to show by summer time.

I want the car 100% before I show it. The knock sensor and wide band is a complete MUST, and as far as the intake manifold goes it just looks so badass I couldnt pass it up. Im very happy with the results so far, i know it will put down more power after we are done. Anything over 450 would make me ecstatic. Ill probably run 7psi (LO) and 10-12psi (HI). I want to see if the car can handle a couple more PSI. Once everything is done I plan on taking it to the track to see what it will run. Probably do a few passes at 10-12psi but keep the car on 7psi on the reg. Good thing that I have a boost controller and can toggle between 7psi and 10-12psi at anytime. Right now the car is on 7psi just to be on the safe side, and it pulls like crazi. I cant even imagine how its going to run once everything is fixed and properly tuned.
Can't wait to see everyone's jaws dropping when she runs at the track!!!

I would say that would be a wise choice on your boost settings. Was just curious if you were just going to go crazy and set it at 1 bar or just be happy with you got on 10psi. I know if it was me and considering it is a LS430 I would be happy where you are too. Good Job and I agree this is probably hands down the meanest VIP Build state side.
