HAVE YOU NO SOUL?

so, how about the new KIA SOUL? i personally think it's just another xB knockoff and KIA is jumping on the wagon w/ the whole box-on-wheels thing that's hot right now. just like the Chevy HHR is a knockoff of the PT Loser. but the soul may have potential. it doesn't look half bad. but it doesn't look half good either. that's just my opinion. but the hamster commercial is pretty funny. if anyone feels like taking the time to photoshop it w/ some decent wheels, then please post your creations

the car looks pretty good

I love it.  Wouldn't buy it but I think it looks nice and is going to be the next big thing for the k-car community

we dont have any little box car like that here in Australia, e.g. no xB or anything like that. We did used to have Suzuki Wagon R+ a few years back (like 6-7yrs? haha) but not anything like that recently.
 
they've just started beginning to advertise the Soul, but i didnt even know it was a Kia cause it has some vague ad basically saying how customisable it is to peoples personalities and then it just comes up with a website address saying haveyougotsoul or something.
 
if it has potential i might buy one next car just cause noone here would ever do one up cause theyre all too closed minded. then again, its a Kia...

I drove this car when my mom was looking for a new car. The #1 biggest surprise is how not shitty the interior is. The plastics are actually very nice and the buttons feel like lexus "butter filled" buttons. It drives really nice too. The mood lights in the speakers are kinda silly but the sound system in the one I drove was very nice. They are something different, a breath of fresh air really. NOT what I would have thought of when I think of KIA. Think toyota with a more solid, slightly less bland interior.

It's 5x114.3 so all your favorite booptastic wheels will mount right up... well... nothing ever mounts right up but definitely a candidate for all the tamer offset 19's and 20's that are floating around. Not sure it would look right slammed on 19's with flares, then again there is little in life that DOESN'T look right under those circumstances so ya... kia soul... go kia...

funny cuz I thought interior is shitty. i don't like the rubber coated plastic Korea uses in thier cars. it wears very quickly and then looks bad

its interesting how many companies are trying to bring over little kei cars now since the popularity of the xB.  the nissan is gonna unleash the cube soon too.. i thought in the commercial it looked good.. havent seen one up close..

too many stuff going on..the fenders look weird... i still like the original First gen XBs better.

+1 also the headlights and tail lights are kinda weird

the Soul looks a bit like a Toyota Passo of late. even still, the Cube still has that quircky back window. I'd have to have black to hide it

they're kinda neat. go to your local KIA dealership and check it out. just don't let a desparate salesman convince you to give up your nice car for one

looked good at the car show for one time look..but seeing it on the road..the shape reminds me of the hamster .. big head, angled body and the wheel wells reming me of the small legs and feet... the commercial killed it for me..lol..

I love it. It's funky and it has a little attitude, but it's practical, economical, and chicks will go "awww!! what is it?".

If I had the cash I'd go get one. Would look dope on Lounge Lizard LB-Zs or A/X Griffony X777s

to a normal lowered height with the stock wheels...still stis high...

A body kit some killer wheels and bags..

it just looks so tall on the front and squashed on the rear. like it has saggy Tanabe springs on it

looks ugly imo.  I hate the flow of the whole car.

not bad. does have a lot of attitude and seems on par with the cube and xb.
