Wannabe Lux Style TL

hey guys whats up, new to VIP Style cars! just thought id show everyone what im up too on my TL

this is how it used to look with my AME Fin wheels (right now on stocks)

those are 19x9 spaced out to +22 offest front and rear is 19x10 +31

recently got new wheels, Work Varianza T1s in G35 coupe fitment!! 19x9.5+15 R DISK and 19x11+17 O DISK.  recently tested fitted the wheels yesterday and today, gonna be needing some serious work on the rear! here is a picture for reference

after adjusting height/ toe/ camber to how i want it, i calculated i am gonna need approx 10mm of pull to clear my wheels on the rear, problem is im trying to find a shop that will be willing to pull my fenders. If anyone knows any shops in So Calli that can pull fenders clean let me know!!!

Welcome.  Car looks good.  That pull isn't anything too serious, you should have no problems pulling it off.  Good luck

It's difficult to find a shop that can guarranty a "clean" fender pull because metal/steel coated in paint is very unpredictable... what tends to happen with the 3rd Gen TL rear fender is that you pull one section while another section tends to spring back... cause of the inner fender being so damn rigid. Hope everything turns out fine...

definately a nice tl you got there.  i really like the black roof.  thats the first one i see with the newer style factory lip kit that i actually like.  rim fitment is gonna be sick as hell when you get it all strait.  cant wait to see a done.

Ah, so you bought that set of T1S's...I was looking into them too, but they sold too quick. Good choice!

Love the TL's ... buddy of mine just bought some AME wheels for his.

gonna be getting some custom body work done on the rear fender, pull and cut about 1 1/2 inches or so, so i dont have to run -6 camber  LOL

Just make sure that you pull the section where the quarter meets the rear bumper.... 'cause the way the rear suspension travels... that's the main area of concern...

i acutally pulled the fenders a little more soo i got the camber to -3.5, something more driveable:biggthumpup:

anyway been looking for a shop that can Radius and cut/pull my rear fender to look OEM. stay tuned!!!

ok didnt like the -6 camber so did some adjustment, and raised the car half an inch  ( in order to be able to daily drive)

here is the finalized camber specs
Front -2.5
Rear -3.5

that is the Aspec kit, it is an OEM lip Kit

oh and i just took a hammer to my fenders:pat: going to get them redone at a shop when i got the time and money

from what i can see in the pics, you done a good job pulling with just a "hammer" LoL. still nice though.
