Is there a Florida scene left?

Where are all the active Florida members located?  It seems like only Texas is doing anything in the south these days.  There is alot of money people running around Florida especially down here in the southernmost part?  There has to be a decent amount of VIP style enthusiasts out here.  Where are ya'll hiding at?

I'm still here, in Orlando. I'm originally from Miramar though. Still have lots of friends and family down there.

I'm here but the suspension work is going slow so far.  Saw Lexusondubs last week soooo nice.

yeah your right the few the better i guess for now in miami people get crazy just like when spoon and mugen came out for hondas people started buying alot of replicas of these parts and riced out the honda scene got really played out here . since not so many people know much about vip scene it's better to keep it on the dl for now and plus it's an expensive thing nothing like the honda parts .

Last time I went back home to Orlando, I noticed a ton of tuners.  I know there still is Jade crew around....  Does anyone know if ECI or AllStar still around?

i haven't seen crap here in Orlando in terms of VIP scene as well as import scene.. i have been  here only for a year and only thing i see shit load of ricers.. practically no meets nothing..

allstar team is almost over it was damm big when neil tjin was in it with his buddy's from toucan industries in pompano beach until they went bankrupt and circuit city sued the hell out of them .
now neil tjin is no longer i think in fl ? so i havent seen one car with their logo on .

all star is no longer around and neil is in cali becoming the next rj devera I believe.  since he's been over there I know he"s built a R34 skyline sedan, scion xb and last I saw he had a nice volvo s40 as a daily.

neil tjin was the editor of HCI till he was forced to resign, now hes doing some online thing that i cant remember what it is. some of the allstar gays are still doing their thing.

planning on it, but not certain yet..

I am here from Jade, I'm the only VIP guy in it for now though. The rest of our crew is still big and strong. We recently hit up HIN in st. pete and brough thome 8 warads with 4 cars.
 
We are thinking about going to D1 in Miami next month.

That was my Y33 that you passed getting onto the highway after the show.

Yeah that was me with the "Bling" on the caps. I wasn't too sure about those caps and was considering having them painted over but everyone seems to like them.

We all joked that I was going to win "Hottest Diamonds on Rims" at the show.

That GS was awesome! My favorite personal car at the show other than the Bridgestone Z4 Coupe.

^ Yes the Z4 coupe was the sickness!! You're car pulled off the bling caps because it is just so clean  it is hard to fault it.:biggthumpup:

I'm here in Orlando, used to be big into the import scene(have an orange mk3 supra).  Now I'm starting to get into the VIP scene with my ls400.  I think there will be some meets this summer-we should all try to rep!

our best bet would be to drive down to miami, there arent alot of vip cars here in west palm. mine isnt really done yet, my wife is using it as a daily and she dont want curtains and rims and blah blah blah so theyre in my storage waiting for me to buy her a new car. but if you come out to hooters on palm beach lakes blvd around 930-10pm theres a car meet me and shane(thats right isnt it?) (essential) usualy go to.

sometime in the next few months, i will more than likely be moving to Brevard Co, FL. anyone know of any reputable custom body shops in Brevard Co or the Orlando area? if my current boss doesn't refer me to a custom shop in Orlando, then i will be seeking employment in a custom [URL="http://www.vipstylecars.com/forums/#"]body shop[IMG]http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2.gif[/IMG][/URL] so i can continue my career of building custom cars and trucks

I have been to majority of the west palm beach meets, ever since they changed it to Hooters i haven't had the chance to go. I'll try to make it next week though, I heard its more organized then before.:shrug:

Thanks...My interior should be back by the end of the month and I am changing back to the stock polished anniversary wheels.   Soon the hood will be painted and maybe even some custom fenders?

Glad to see SOMEONE post in here...haha.  I have not gotten my interior yet, but the stock AE wheels are on and spaced out, the hood is painted and sick, I have the Kouki GT grill in and S14 suspension ready to swap out the Y32 stuff.  slowly making progress but the car has taken a backseat to the Wedding...

I'm here. Do any of you go to the Friday night car shows in Davie? Nice central location in S Fl, very informal and going on every Friday night (I-595 & University Dr - in front of Home Depot). If we can decide on a date when most of us could go, we could get our own VIP section (no pun intended). My M35 is not VIPStyle yet, but it's where I want to go with it and have bought some stuff to get started. Would love to see some rides in person.

Just moved to SW Florida, Fort Myers area, and man it's beat down here.  Haven't seen much of anything running around the streets.  I've heard Tampa has a lot going on, but nobody I know down this way knows where.  Anybody have any insight?!

There are a lot more of a scene here in Tampa St Pete but there are a lot of the ricer and Honda scene too.  You can check out tamparacing.com for a lot of Bull$#it and childish crap....but you can also find local shows and hang outs etc.
