on the real though, how do i get a hold of a professional lawn mower that will cut tall grass?  By tall, I'm talking about the kind you see on commerical property land.  I'm lookng for one where i can sit or those kinds that you stand on and it wheels you around as it mows.  How much am I looking to spend on a new one and a used one?  Where can I buy a used one at?

You got a pic of the kind you're talking about?  During the summer Im part of a mowing crew that does all sorts of mowing.    We run Hustler and Gravely mowers.   Those run around 4 or 5K per mower, depending on what you get.   Theyll handle foot high grass no problem as long as it is brom grass and not terribly thick.   You get stuff higher than that or thicker, you might as well get a small tractor with a mulcher on the back.   Another brand that is popular is Dixon, but never ran one.

For buying this stuff, you have a good bet at a craigslist.  You can find them considerably cheaper in your area since many people wont throw them on eBay for whatever reason (shipping would suck for one).
