Post your Y33 wheel/offset specs

well  im trying figure out what specs i want for the y33 im definetly gonna get little aggressive but nothing crazy cause its gonna be my daily, if i drive 5 miles a night its alot so tire wear isnt really a problem. specs ive thought of as of now are 19x9.5 +5 frt and 19x11 +10 Offset rear, theirs gonna be lots of camber and fenders are gonna be worked according to the fitment i want. please post your offset/camber/tire sizes/roll/pull etc or any opinions/suggestions u guys have *please*, so i can get an idea of what im expecting or if you have any pics of something similar post them up. im not trying to bite anybodys specs just asking for a little help on my set up thats all.:biggthumpup::biggthumpup:

19x10 0 offset fronts and 19x11 0 offset rears are i think are the best in 19"

19x9.5 -10  19x11 -6 (-10)

it will be easy to build around this set up

maybe about 1.5 degree of camber in the rear, depends if you are looking to poke and tuck.


If you end up going with a kit, i'd recommend you shave the kit where it meets the rear quater panel for a flush and cambered tuck when pancaked or else your tire will certainly touch the kit, atleast it does for k-break.  Might want to have your body guy relocate that mouting point slightly

i'm running 235/35  and 245/35 so you can compensate with a more aggressive stretch i suppose

mine was weak, but I had the wheels laying around so I threw them on....was 18x8 +8 18x9+15 required slight roll in back with camber set within factory settings and fronts were sunk about 8mm....

W/ the spacers mine = 19x9 +3 front and 19x10 + 8 rear.  Works for me, hella flush / slight poke and clears my BBK.

The truth is, there are people out there who just look to out do others.  "I have a bigger lip size then so and so"  "I have the most aggressive sizing for my car."  Comments like that are not necessary and make people not want to help anyone else in the future.  Its sad that those 10% of people ruin it for the rest.  The VW crowd is more helpful because I notice there are less ego's in that community.
 
Even in Japan, they do not disclose offsets in the magazines or on their Minkara pages.  Over there, they get certain offsets to get the wheels to stick out a certain amount rather then to try to get the biggest lip size while not taking body lines into consideration.
 
There are other people who just don't want to do all the work for you.  They rather teach you how to fish then catch a fish for you.
 
With all of that being said, this is not a personal attack to the poster of this thread.  I am sure if you worded your title to "what offset range will give me a flush look?", more people would of chimed in.

20x9 with +25 offset high disk to big calipers and 20x10 rear with +25 offset low disk running 225,35 in the front and 245,35 in the rear with a 20mm Spacer in the front to make it flush. The rear needs a fender roll but to help out just slapped 3 degrees of camber and look good enough till it gets rolled. :biggthumpup: lol i just gave up the top secret documents :pat:

Agreed, I totally get your point and I respect the teach him to fish not catch a fish for him mantra...........buy my unit is big enough that I don't judge my self worth by others offsets or lips sizes....I'm not saying you do either, but seriously, how much of a shattered ego does one have if they feel "outdone" by someone with "more lip" or 5mm "more poke" etc etc....???  the purpose of a community is to help each other, not bring others down.


And for the record, This is NOT directed at Agi...I know that Agi has helped lots of people on here and he has always been helpful to me.  This is about our community and what WE want it to be about...

I agree and I just assume I have to do fender work to fit anything that I really like anyway...:smiley-rofl:  I may not be the senior member around here etc etc...but I still go by the "buy the wheels and make them fit" philosophy...

The difference between fishing and survival is we're talking about fcking wheels for Christ sake.  Who really cares?  If you tell someone the perfect most hella amazing offset and they live in Cheezedick County Wisconsin, will you ever see them on the road and go "dang, I wish I hadn't told that person my offset cause look how much sicker his / her ride is"??  

I live in LA, So-Cal has probably the highest concentration of "VIP Cars" in the US, I've never come across another VIP'd Q45 outside of meets.  I first joined this site over 5 years ago, and in 5+ years I can count the number of VIP cars I've seen on LA streets on probbably 1/2 of a hand.

totaly agree %100 with you guys, i made this thread to find out what sizes/offset would best suit my taste before i buy the wheels, also see what they look like on others cars, im not out to get the most aggressive fitment on a Q or anything its never gonna happen cause their`s some pretty aggressive set ups out there and thats not what i want nore im trying to copy any ones style.what i dont want to happen is me waste 3k on wheels and recive them months later and get something i didnt want. thats why i posted the specs i was thinking about on my first post. to reference off what you guys post.

i've been seeing a crapload around la/oc now. i always manage to see one or two when i go to garden grove to eat kbbq.

How's it that 33flavors is running a larger diameter wheel and they are both running nearly the same width/offset, yet cheez requires so much more camber to fit the wheels?

We could have this thread for each chassie , but to some it would make the scene grow to fast,

the federal tires i'm running are wide as hell AND they're a 40 profile, so you get much less stretch for the same width. i had more tire clearance on a 245/35 on a 10" than i do now on a 245/40 on a 11.5".

I guess I have the weakest set up out of everyone.

Front: 20x8.5 +37 offset with Toyo T1R 245/35/20

Rear: 20x10.5 +44 offset with Toyo T1R 275/30/20

19x9 +5 w/5mm spacer (originally +10)

19x10 +/-0
