Is it mounted directly to the car? Id mount it to a board then mount it to the car. I have a viair 480c mounted that way and I can barely tell when its on.

Sound proof box works...you can use some sound deadening to help out. If you have any hollow metal parts in between where its mounted and the cabin, then I'd definitely use some sound deadening. It won't solve the problem, but it will help out.

You just tell her to be quiet or she walks home- and that keeps the noise down.

Wood block is the fasted easiest way to get the noise down. The wood soaks up all the vibration

i think my GF is gonna dump me soon if i don't fix it !!

"I hit one switch then I got one b*tch then I hit mo switches now I got mo b*tches"

What ever it is mounted to has to be tight or it amplifies the noise .

there is always going to be noise. I do all my installs out side of the cars when possible and you will still hear it. My setups are even mounted on the rack so it not hanging on the floor.. I even have a sub floor in my car with tons on layers of insulation and you still hear it.

IF you have 2 comps youll have double the noise that why i use only one and it does the just with half teh noise it just takes a little longer to fill the tank.

your GF shouldnt be annoyed unless your always playing with the switches becuase i know i can go up and down at least 3 times before the comp comes on.. up and down meaning not slamming it all the way down. just doing adj if i have to..

Unless you have a leak and always playing with it.. you shouldnt hear that comp. to much..

A good fix for this is pulling out the air and running hydro-pneumatic suspension.
