holy kaka.  dat musta been on expensive bill.  ...for excellent quality build fo' sho.  i agree w/ widebody_q on the kit choice.  matched the bmc front but not w/ the mc conversion.  esp with the smoother wide body.  Still...joel's doesn't another great job.  i wanna see some numbers (cost).

someone called me to say the car is for sale locally. damn cant believe this thing is finally done and is being sold again. what a trip. joel is the mannn. i wish he could of painted my car. id almost wait 2 years for those results. :biggthumpup:

Only took 2 years cuz joel was waiting on payments from the owner, and he get other jobs, and about half the time was working solo... I can't remember how many works he went thru in that time period, friends would come by and help here and there, I helped when I could.... I think he could've gotten done with this car way sooner had he had a steady worker(s) that knew what to do without being told. I can't wait for this car to shutem down in our next car show, if he enters it before he sells it..

Looks good, but I agree with a few others that different aero would have really set the whole look off.  From what I can see the work looks great, anxious to see more pics.

I love the confusion that is thrown about in regards to that.  Dan, don't forget the past that was good...and who helped you along the way..unselfishly I might add.  When the car finally does completely switch hands..it'll be back where it belongs.  We might have had a split in ways, but you can't deny the assistance we gave (or the fact that you used to be part of our family).

I had nothing to do with the bodywork other than helping figure the wheels out and order them for you (not to mention the connection with Falken).  The aero on the car too way back when..I won't bother to bring up what you did with JP, it's water under the bridge that I've long since moved on from.  I'm just much more cautious in whom I call my friends.

So please, don't try to play off the people who helped you get on your way...that's just inconsiderate.

You did help me get the wheels initially, but never helped with the "figuring out" of them. Actually the wheels were re-ordered to fit the brakes anyway. Mike I really don't want to bring up the past so lets just leave it at that. I actually bought tires for those wheels also. Yah I do admit you helped me, but then again you got something out of it also. Exposure ect. at the shows and clients to buy products from you. As far as what I did with JP is no ones business. I have to admit tho certain people made me end up from loving VIP to hating it (not going to mention names) but that's why im getting out of it. It only takes a couple of tools to ruin someones passion. The car is for sale if anyone is interested, sorry for the off topic post but I figure I'd say something to back myself up. It don't really matter because mike just pushes his mod weight around this board. I can never understand how someone could go from being banned from the forums to a mod... but then again, I'm sure for the most part of what I said will be removed anyway.

And to answer your question..the truth is what did it.  I'm not an Admin for no reason and I don't take advantage of the position.  

Use your words wisely.  I haven't perm banned anyone I personally know...even those who hate me to no end.  I'm fair and respectful...don't think that going and saying something like that will protect you from other staff members bringing the heat.  Just know that it wasn't me if it does.

I don't really care I have better things to do then live my life on the internet. I don't really care who brings the heat, I just have to back up myself. I could care less if I get banned from here, VIP is ruined for me. It's pretty sad that after you build a car of your dreams all you want to do is turn around and sell it. Crews and people trying to argue their point on the internet is what really ruined it for me, I do have respect for the originators tho.

I hope that you can find it to reconsider the sale.  Your car is an inspiration! What ever you do, I hope the best for ya!

Hey man YOU built an amazing car. People can take all the credit they want about how they helped you get the parts. But in the end, you make the final decisians on the choices of what happens with the vehicle. And what you did was amazing man. You should really stay in the game, it just seems your region has issues when it comes to builders.
