My IS, I wish it was a LS430

Hey all,

So I'm almost done with my IS300. I think the last things that I am going to do is put Wald sides on, an L-tuned rear lip, and maybe some eye lids. I'm liking the look right now though and not having to worry about the sides/rear of my car being really low. The wheels, as I'm sure you can tell, are Work Euroline DZs in 19 inch. Going to put in a small spacer in the rear to push it out a lil' bit. I'm a big fan of the Japanese VIP tuning style, so I decided to go this route with my IS, even though it is not really a VIP platform. Tell me what you think.

From the angles of the pics, I would say you need to work on stance and wheel fitment. Specially that it's not a true vip platform, stance and fitment is critical to emulate the style you are going after.

yeah, like what V8 said, I think it could use a bit more of a tire stretch, a little more drop and some spacers for the rear, after that it should look pretty sick.

You should throw a 25 or even 30mm spacer on the rear.

19's wow they look like 20's on that car...I agree spacers and a more of a drop would 
make that car a little more VIPish :2funny:

looks good and all but i think it needs some stretching and stuff to make it stand out more. Also i have a question in your title it says you would like a ls430 instead why waste money on a project thats a)not even vip chassis and b)harder to do because of aftermarket and style. 

I don't know man if i was into vip i would just dive right in and get the car of choice...why live with a pipedream and only hope its vipstyle.... I don't know your situation and its just an opinion of often times seems to common. Still the car is very nice i will admit to that....
