1990 Toyota Celsior, A.k.a Lexus LS400

Hey guys,
 
As some of you know, i have been here for a couple weeks. I was looking for a UCF21, but could never find a decent condition one, and they came out at the end of 1994, so i wouldve had to wait for a little longer. So i picked up a minty fresh UCF11. 1990 type C, 26,000 kms (16,000 miles). Comes with leather too.

As you can see the only problems with the body is some scratches. Hopefully they all buff out when i get it. And ill have an even mintier UCF11 :dance:
 
And some photos of my silvia. No where near VIP Style, just some nice fitting rims and some stretched rubber. 18 x 9.5 in the front wrapped w/ 215/45, 18 x 10.5 in the rear w/ some 225/40.

I think my steps will be.

1. Rims and Airbag controller.
2. Exterior.
3. Interior. 
4. Upgrade suspension? (air/coilovers)


But i might dip into some of each at a time.

What rims do you have on the Sil?

26k kms? Holy shyte, that's 1733 kms per year. Nice pick-up.
Take a very hard look at that air suspension. With OEM air being average at best and that car sitting most of it's life, those bags might be very brittle and on their way out. You may want to consider aftermarket air or coilovers first.

Well it got delayed. Was suspose to be here on the 20th (tmr) but the boat broke down on the way from japan to canada. They hit something i think, and busted the steering. So the boat is getting towed to the washington port i believe, and unloaded. And then trained to my city (expected DOA = 29th)

Also my airbag controller should be here soon. To use it with the stock system, do i have to buy pressure valves and everything? or can i use the stock stuff. Please LMK. :biggthumpup:

where can i find that key and push start button? is that a sensing key? meaning that when u approach the car the doors unlock and you press the button to start the vehicle?

Its from a factory that supplies us with parts. I will be ordering one shortly, so let me know if you want me to order 2.
and yes it is a sensing key.

Im not pushing a product, im merely ordering it for myself. And if people want to save with shipping and such, we could save. (regular it is 350$ but if 3 people buy [me plus 2 others] = 300$usd) 

And this is a sample price, so this is quiet high compared to alot of other companies i have used for samples. (usually under 100$ for everything and anything)

Yah i changed my mind. Going to order the D2 kit i think in the spring. 
New sound system, is getting installed. Then going to do some more interior work. 
 
DVD player, 6 disc cd changer for the rear, wireless headphones for the rear, plus 2 tvs (can play seperate things), rear fridge where the centre seat is right now. Going to start designing some interior tables too. Also going to a curtain place to design me some curtains for my front windows similar to those of the back window and rear sides (going to dye them all grey to match interior) and have them powered so when i arm the alarm, they all close. 
 
Exterior will probably stay close to oem i think. 

Will see updates very soon!

Well i bought another Ls400. 
1993 UCF10, blue on blue. 155,000kms.
 
It was a write off but i bought it for 1000$ and can easily be fixed or parted out. Dont know what im going to do yet.

And the damage, needs a trim piece, and a new fender, new side marker, and new mirror glass and some door work. 
 
The ideas:
-Rebuild, and keep
-Rebuild and sell
-Part out
-Swap parts from rhd celsior w/ 26,000 kms and all the options to this one to make a uber vip lhd ls400. 
-Swap parts and then keep both
 
This also has sunroof, and oem phone. Which my celsior doesnt have.
