need some input on choosing rims for my euro...

so, im torn between these 2 rims.... 18" euroline DH, or 18" amg aero II.... these will be going on my 06 audi a3 so no crazy offsets here. widths and offsets are close to stock so there wont be any rubbing issues. its just i really dig both these rims (and no, i cant buy em both.. although i would really love to). AMGs are 5x112 so itll bolt right up, DHs are 5x114 so ill have to use hubcentric rings and wobble bolts. AMGs are state side, DHs are in japan. both of them shipped to hawaii will be about the same price, its just the DHs i gotta buy the rings and wobble bolts...

I'd go with the amg aero II for the mere uniqueness of them and staying german. Both are nice either way.  DH's are classic but have been done before.

I vote DH mostly because it would be weird putting old Benz wheels on a new Audi.

kinda pricy but i say bbs LM's would look sik for years to come..

see, benz's, vw/audi, and bentleys all got the same bolt pattern so alot of euro guys  run whatever on whatever... dudes even throw corvette C4 sawblades on vw/audis via adaptors. corvettes and bmw's share the same bolt pattern as well so its not odd to see corvette saw blades on bmw's...  im leaning towards the eurolines just becauase... but the amg's would be so sweet...

I know its not an option of the two but the wheels in the top left hand corner of the AMG wheels I think would look sweet on the Audi.  But if I had to choose out of the wheels you posted I say I would go DH.

mike, any chance you attemped a rendering of the DHs? i was thinking if i got the AMGs, ill take em apart, polish the lips, spray the centers toyota super white with escalade white pearl. not too many people on my christmas list this year so more gifts for me self....

Here's one of my favorite A3's on 19in staggered DPE ST7s. The Eurolines will look good on the A3.

gonna try and scoop up those AMGs... swapped out the stocks for some B6 S4 rims i was given... sanded them, filled in the curbage, primered, wetsanded, sprayed a silver base, and 3 coats of clear.... it was a quick job, no spray booths here, all outside so theres small bugs and shit... just some temps til i get the AMGs...

The Eurolines are probably my top 3 favorite wheel, but for this application I'd have to say AMG. Something cool about rocking old school Benz wheels on a new Audi. Especially if you got them to sit out flush like your VW/Audi dudes do well.

Those AMG's polished would look RIDICULOUS. Especially on your color car.

x2. I'm a benz owner so it would be strange if I put Audi wheels on mine. Go with the Eurolines. 
 
Are those AMG wheels from RB Wheels? If so, I was looking at them too. Great price but I believe they are 18"s.

Re barrel the AMG with a deeper lip but those would look more unique.

go with the 2 pc aeros. they look so clean on a3's. sorry but i cant find pics for ya but i have seen them and they are dope.
refinish the faces, either paint em (white looks good on black) or full polish them

i love the amg wheels but would be sick if it was fully polished n had a deeper lip

Ah yes I seen these before and asked around about them but couldn't find them on a US site. Didn't realize they were $3800. gues I will have to hope I can pick them up used somewhere. These are the pics that inspired me I have a few more
