Found a plug and play air kit???

hey guys... just found this site and they actually have an application for the previa and they said that everything is all assembled and pretty much a plug and play. the price is not bad too if its infact a plug n play kit. somebody please school me cause i'm a rookie when it comes to air systems.

Their brackets suck, the threadwork they do from the shop sucks
the measurements on my lower brackets for my old VW were wrong, i had to cut the width down by almost an inch on the bottom, and then source new bushings

and they didnt want to warranty any of it. 
I got in a pissing match between them and me and couldnt even get a discount an replacemnt parts for the ones that were fucked up.

constant headache, i had 2 of their sleeve bags bust, nad one of hte double convoluted bust.

I have never dealt with airbagit only because of all the horror stories  I've read about them.  First of all, I f you are considering air suspension, you shouldn't have bought the teins.  Like what Shawn said, the UAS system will not fit those.  You can use the rear shocks though.

Depending on your budget, you can piece together your own system.  The previa rear brackets are available from UAS, just contact Zack.  You have the option of using firestone 2500's (same as airrunners), Slam Specialties RE6 or UAS Air House air bags for the rear.

For the fronts, you will need the UAS front Mcpherson strut bag mounts/Aero sport bags with your choice of struts.  There are many options for air management depending on your budget, from simple manual valves to digital systems.  You can also check vwvortex & layitlow forums for used ones if you wanna go that route.

thanks for the info. but i guess i'm just gonna stick with my teins now... also, for you air guys, what are you guys using for your Lateral rod?? how do you adjust everytime you slam your cars or raised them sears tower high??

I have the Cusco lateral rod.  You only adjust it one time to your desired ride height.  All it does is center the rear end to prevent rubbing your tires when you lower the van.

UAS would prob be your best bet if you dont wana go Air runner

Just cut the factory one weld nuts on both ends and cut a grade 8 bolt so there is only the threads add a nut on the bolt so you can lock it down. cost only a few bucks to do.. that what I did on Mikeys Previa..

Nice pictures!! well... i have the lateral rod rom cusco already. now, when i install the lateral rod do i have to have an alignment place adjust it or can i just lower my car first with no lateral on the car then install the rod?? thanks for the help guys!

I know several here have said don't use airbagit, but so far they are the only ones that make a kit I can make work on my Cressida.

im pretty sure UAS can work.. but youll have to fab it to work.. and not just bolt on

easy to do yourself..

UAS + Silk Road + Cusco Lateral Bar = I got them all.  The Cusco Lateral Bar hellp "minimize" my tire shredding problem.  Had to "modd" the Fenders for more clearance.

FYI:  What ever system that you decide to go with, keep it simple.....although Digital Controllers are nice to have Manual Switches are much more reliable.  Found this out after wasting more than $500 on a Digital Controller that don't do what it says.

marshall, correct me if im wrong but wouldn't it be better to replace that lateral rod with a custom watts link if u wanna spend a little like what they use on most bagged trucks.

I'm not Marshall but the Watts would be a better choice as the Rear will always stay "centered".  At different ride heights the Eggs booty will shift.  

I would love to do a Custom Watts but decided that it was no sense as I am already bottoming out on the rear "arms".  I want to go lower but unless I do some serious work that is the lowest the booty will drop.  

Figure if I want to go lower it would be IRS......which will kill two birds with one stone, lower, rear centered.....oh yeah.......CAMBER!!  Killing 3 birds.....but it will also cost a pretty penny.

can also do it that way.. your talking about the Himes joints right.. the screw in both ends a rod that treaded at both ends. 
 
I just cut the OEM bar in half to try keep down the cost for the customer. your way would be the better way. but they both will do the same thing
