Please dont start a lecture on me about what VIP is. I know exactly where my car belong, and it's the main reason why I dont want to keep going with this project

Thats not too bad. Actually pretty cool for what it is. That was my first car. Could use a little bit bigger exhaust but if you applied those skills to a VIP car you could make some pretty cool stuff.

Good choice for the next cars you plan on using for platforms..I think you would have a good time on those.

I actually got pulled over because one cop thought it was an illegal R34 lol And there's extreme case where someone actually did full conversion on front and rear end which is quiet impressive... But I definitely wont waste that kind of effort on a wannabe :runcoold:
I know the priority of being VIP is clean. But I emphasize more on the aggressiveness and personal appeal of the ride, just my style i guess =)

I would say,
Cleaner kit with less lines.
Stock headlights and corners
maybe inch or so bigger wheels (better fitting, Full face maybe)
Lower
lose the roof spoiler
The car is not bad at all from the chrome trim up.
If the car was lower it would probably set off the current state really well.

i can say i appreciate the work put in, it looks like you had a vision and you executed it. Had it been lower on nicer wheels, it would have been executed better. However, it just doesnt seem to work

For some reason I dont think this camry would look as good being slammed. If i could do it again, I would try to get exactly one inch lower upfront and it would be perfect for me. Another thing about modding a camry is that I dont have much options on hand to consider. For example the front lip is one of the only two obtainable in US for this model, I simply made do with what I had along the way :pat:

Thanks, I usually dont get much appreciation from non-camry people. When people ask me what I drive, I say a camry, they're like "oh, ok" ... With all the work and thought i put into only moved it to the level of "WTF is that thing rolling" ? Not the "Wow" factor I was looking for :slap:

From this angle you can't see the lines on the kit and the car looks alot better.
Is there any body shop that could customize that kit? I mean if your going to spend the money on the car either do it with all intent to finish or scrap the project before you start throwing your money away. I think it could be salvaged if you wanted to switch up the look.

hmm i see what your sayin Damicci.....I think if that kit was dumbed down a bit and suspension with a proper fit wheel on there..Oh and those head and taillights back to stock atleast..I think this car would actually look pretty dope..Kind of in the same category as the Ra1's to me.

Oh well they actually made the straight side and "factory alike" rear, some like this on a fellow camry owner
However, he also used the same front lip with all the crazy aggressive cut. We just couldn't find any better lip to use. And from this picture you can see that the front doesn't flow well with the rest of the car at all
So that's why I choosed the current side and rear. :pat:

I know I've seen some crazy wagons in the forum of toyota scepter club in Kanto
Too bad we dont have those kind of parts available here in US. Importing has been an option, but nobody ever really look deep into it. Fitment due to differences in JDM model and USDM model was also a big concern. :pat:

Here is my Shopped of what I was thinking if you were to switch it up a bit.
I removed the roof spoiler
increased the wheel size to tucking a bit, lightened the wheels
and tried to smooth out the kit.

I know what u meant. But let's face this, just because my camry can go as low as an Aristo, doesn't make it as good as one. I dont have problem going all out on my car. But again, if I can pull out a few K for suspension set up, why not do it on a Lexus or Infiniti. It's still a camry at the end, can't win the respect of them all ... I was just trying to prove that a gen 3 camry can pull out the VIPis look just as good as anything else. Maybe I proved it, maybe not, but I'm not willing to go that far just to be labeled as VIP wannabe at the end. It's just not me ...
This car is old, it's slow, a purely POS. I honestly dont appreciate the car as much as the concept I created. Maybe someone will pick up this concept and finish it someday, maybe not ... I left my mark there, I'm happy

Man I feel ya on that one. thats what they were saying about my 05 Sentra I built. But hey, it was a family car, I built it my way and took a trophy at a show. In all honesty, the car is clean to me. The front bumper, if it were round all the way like the back, would be more on the lines of "styled" but overall to me, execution.

I removed the roof spoiler
increased the wheel size to tucking a bit, lightened the wheels
and tried to smooth out the kit.

It looks a tad trinkety.... ie. chrome strips look busy... and not a fan of roof spoiler, only because shape is a tad blobby. delete and will look more like sedan than hatch back!
P.s i'm running gen 4 at moment (saving for lex)
