nice, zion you should start doing somthing to the center arm rest. Like figure out how to put a chrome rim around the rear cup holders so they look like the garson tables ect, or even ice them out.
I was thinkin about adding abunch of crystals on the bottom of the cup holder and a chrome rim on top, but cant find any type of chrome ring to use.

Been meaning to ask did you remove the seats then remove the fabric or did all that while the seats were still in the car?
Seems unlikely but some people do the craziest things.
Will probably doing my seats towards the end of the summer.

Thx Oscar but.....
Nah, I lucked out. bad ass wife does upholstery work and got like oodles of that fabric free from work. like 50+ yards maybe. haha.
It matched the wood grain well so I figured f'it I am gonna make some use out of it. The roof is like 70% good. some parts we messed up on but overall looks good. will be tons better the second time around.

It's kind of like a microfiber fake suede like fabric. I just originally saw it collecting dust at my work so asked around about and was told I could have it. figure the wife could use it for something. and then realized how well it mixed with the wood grain in the car so there we have it.

hmmm... I see that no one is using sporty elements in their interior design such as red or carbon fiber materials. I have been infatuated with these 2 cars for a while (I am getting queues for my interior design) and both have very sporty interior queues:

[B]F50 for DJ something, I know the interior was done by L-Tide:

Nothing really sporty about that interior. I am not even sure how to define sporty interior minus woodgrain.

Well, usually red and carbon fiber elements bring an essence of sportiness to an interior, not necessarily meant to say 'red (or bright color) and/or carbon = sporty interior" :yahoo_68:. One of the things that occurred to me was that maybe people aren't using bright colors right now because DUB and DONK style uses them. Anyways, I will be posting a photoshop of my interior soon enough.

I never updated with complete seats but here is a pic I recently took:
Going back through the thread I see mine is pretty plain compared to some of yall with the pads and curtains, etc. I'd like a nice shift knob, and a suede wrapped wheel, headliner. and pillars but that's about it. If I end up keeping the car, take all the wooden pieces and add a few more and have the color changed to cherry red wood instead of the current.
Oh and those Garson cig lighters. I like those things.

Ok so just picked up the interior door panels from the upholstry shop...and what a transformation! After a 2 month wait...
Total redo on the panels:
- Panel Color change from gray to OEM black
- Memory Foam insert
- Garson Vega leather center
- Matte black leather trim w/ french seams
- Chrome-dipped map light, door lock trim and door handle (not pictured)
- Wood-dipped door handle pull & cup holder (to match steering wheel)
The pics speak for themselves! From this:
Olive Green/Gray with Gray Cloth, Gray trim.
To this!

Many of you have seen the Swarovski Crystals in and around the analog clock in the Q, but I replaced the white LEDs in the Clock and while I was at it, replaced teh HVAC bulbs with blue LED's as well.

For those they have always been wanting to do the LED's in the HVAC, I used NEO4 twist lock LED's from Superbrightleds.com and the clock LED's are T1.5 twist locks.
Remember, if the LED doesn't light up, take it out and turn it a half turn the put it back in! haha ask me how I know, I got so frustrated until I remembered that.

From another angle -
Taken from Weksos/Fatlace WekFest Dallas show - When I get better pics of the interior you'll see the custom headliner has a stripe of Vega material running the entire length of the headliner, as well as custom sun visors, custom dash mat and the door panels all done to match.

I really like your interior! I do have a question on it- let me preface it by saying im on my phone, and pictures arent that large, so forgive me if im wrong here.. Your front seats have a single stitch pleat through the alcantara, while the back bench appears to have a two piece insert. Is there a reason this was done? Also, alcantara is "fake suede" as are its competitors.. Its just MUCH higher quality then anything else on the market! (its the only "suede" ill use personally). It can be purchased at gulf fabrics, btw (just a heads up, as i bet shipping from japan was $$$!) at any rate your interior looks very very nice and please don't take offense I wasn't meaning anything negative!

Yeah I've always smirked inside when someone is glorifying Alcantara as the real suede =)
Don't even get why people don't use real suede, cuz there ain't much of a difference. Most online stores sells Alcantara for around 100-150$ per yard, and last time I checked my local supplier it was something like 200-250€ for a hide (~2sqr.yards if recall right)
Oh those red nightlights give a nice touch, going to do more of it like the dash?

Re: Post your Interior
I dont think that real suede would hold up in an automotive enviroment, honestly.. Would be badass though! I am going to be covering my dash, it will have red stitching, not piping though!

Hmmm those suede jackets seem to hold their own pretty fine when maintained properly, plus Aston Martin etc use real suede... reason why I know how much it costs here is that I'm going to use it for my seat centers :giggity:

Well after I get bodywork and paint done, it'll be time to get cracking with the interior. Most likely will use some out gear protection on it.

Some of you guys may have seen my interior from my build thread. But for those who didn't here are the latest shots I have. You can say I have a bit of a Garson fetish (all legit!). I wanted something different than the standard brown or black wood so I went with a custom silver carbon.

This is my custom LHD Garson table. I bought a RHD Garson table and brought it to a friend of mine who does car audio. He basically took it apart and mirror traced out all the pieces on new wood and wrapped it in leather vinyl and reused all the trip pieces.

I gotta remember this
