Well hopefully it still comes with the standard 2-way remote
If both of those batteries die, then you just shouldn't be having them fun toys hahaha

But the whole idea is to not have to carry a bulky key fob. Oh well

True dat :pat:
Carry a 2nd iPhone LOL or have someone else with an iPhone unlock your ride.
It said you can use it from almost anywhere, IDK if there's a range limit like the transmitters. It can probably be done from a whole different state haha

Remote start is hilarious when someone walks by and the car starts up with no one in it. I used to LOL all the time when I had it on my 240. But it ain't so funny if someone's hacked into your iPhone, and you ain't the one startin it

For this to work, you still need the alarm to go with it. The Smartstart is an add-on module. That alarm will come with the keyfob thing. The SmartStart app will anywhere you have 3G/edge service. It goes off of the cellular data for it to send and receive commands. If your battery dies on the iPhone, you will need the keyfob, thats all. You can carry 2 phones lol. I can't really talk smack, I have a 4 and a 3GS with me at all times so yea... my bad. lol
So Directed makes 3 versions of this app. One for Clifford, Viper, and Python. Weird thing is the ONLY app that is working with the 2-way communication is the VIPER one. Clifford and Python do not have it yet for some odd reason. Hopefully its in our App approval process already.
As for hacking your iPhone? Just don't jailbreak it. If you do jailbreak it, don't be a dumbass and NOT change your damn SSH password. I see so many people who jailbreak their iPhones and don't change their SSH password. Don't let me take over your damn phone now :P
