Newbie Jaguar X type 03'

i got an 03 jaguar x type and so far i got an old picture of but ill get some new ones up to ask what you think...

stock platnium sliver paint with black interior

H&R springs 1.5 drop

vip cutains in rear windows (ancelton), waiting for front ones

waiting on JP fusa

12" W7 n 1000 watt JL amp

EBC full brake kit slotted and dimpled with green stuff

angled front plate with smoked clear cover

and 6 puddle lights on each side....one for each letter in jaguar....but imma change it to 5 for standard look. 6 was an accident.

and some other random shit i did but most of all im waiting on a roof wing.

i wanted a different VIP, someone has never even seen......so im going all out. im just saving up for some TSW holsten wheels in 18x8F n 18x9R or work DH in the biggest offset i can put in 17 with stretched tires.

this pic was taken long before my drop.

No offence, but how are you driving a Jag if you have to save for some $1200 wheels? I know i couldnt afford that car, but thats not alot of money for wheels!

And I think you might need bigger wheels than that to get the right look... 17s or even 18s will look *tiny* on that car, unless you go for a 4-5" drop! :) :)

Why not some Work DH in 19? Or some Kranze Bazrea's?

I was thinking the same thing about smaller wheels.. :2funny: Need to be bigger than that some 18's-19's. As far as your ? goes how can he drive a JAG and not
afford wheels..YOu can get this year model from $13000-$20000 depending on milage and condition,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-X-TYPE-2-5-AWD-LEATHER-CD-WARRANTY-LETS-DEAL_W0QQitemZ330044058826QQihZ014QQcategoryZ43915QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

To put it into perspective its not that much $$ as far as car goes
its like buying a new Kia - Altima- Civic etc..that target market usually does not have money up the wazoo to spend on wheels and parts after car payment each month. I dont think
he bought it brand new cuase then you would be deffinatly right on Q about that, but if it was used he is practically in the same boat as alot of folks on the forum and in reality.
I think that there is a handfull of Tricked out VIP cars on this forum completed and the rest are saving and building.

Re: Newbie Jaguar X type 03'

as far as rims its cause i dont wanna roll fenders or make em any bigger cause im going to end up selling it cause im going to buy a new car in a when i get a new job. the 17s look fine with a 9.5x17 in the rear n 8x17 in the front plus my lug pattern is 5x 108. how retarded is that??

Re: Newbie Jaguar X type 03'

I dont think anybody is 'hating' - he was just explaining how you can afford the car. The same car over here twice that price, but i had actually thought it was alot more. Either way its worth more than my car... I just couldnt be bothered spending any more on a car

Just a suggestion, If you are planning to sell, then why bother modifying this one? Why not just keep saving so that you can do the next car up properly, with rolled guards, fat rims and a decent drop. Otherwise you might regret spending the money on this one when it doesnt achieve the look you are after

But at the end of the day, its what YOU like that counts, not us. So if you say 17s look good then i say go for it. It certainly wont look BAD (just not as 'all out' as i prefer)

As for the lug pattern, i'm sure you can get PCD converters? Would be in the form of a 20mm spacer or something, but at least you can run a better selection of rims...

Oh did someone get her fealings hurt. Yo, I was trying to explain how tight money can be when you have car payments. The way you talk maybe your on a corner slagin rocks and
have mad funds. .. who knows I was trying to  have Dominik see it from another angle and try to prevent bashing but ignorance is bliss. This site is for VIP cars
and if your not into true VIP style than take a hike cause that _ _ _ _  wont fly around here. No matter what you do your just waisting your money and time if your going to trade it in.
Sometimes kindness is mistaken for rudness and I guess thats  just what happened here. Misunderstaniding, but my assumption seems to
be correct if you are in between jobs and all....When you save up enough scrilla buy a Cima or a LS and come back when your ready to play hard  ball:2funny:

Oh YEah I AINT BLACK

don't confuse a jaguar x type with say a jaguar xj8 or xk. definitely not in the same league.
