Maybe this is a dumb idea...but?

I am considering putting Black time attack te37 and gold endless brakes on a slammed black ls430??? Is this absolutly retarded? Photoshop please anyone to see if this would like like crap, or possible may look pretty cool.

Im thinking this might look a bit to sporty for such a big body car... but I would love to see a photoshop.

Yeah i am thinking "Lux/reverse style or XUL"...basicly take a big sedan and make it look sporty with vip elements in mind, which include the right stance and wheel offset followed up with a little sporty flavor, carbon lip and carbon spoiler....

Naw man like some red verossa made for drift, some cars look good. The new Vip Car has a red LS with that sporty vip feel to it.

Hahaha, EXACTLY the car I was just going to post.  There's a few others similar to it too.  You see them every so often in the magazines.

Are you going to put in the same effort? Just the wheels / brakes wont complete this look. There are alot of different styling queues on this car that are all working together to complete this look. I am willing to bet that a drop, black volks, and gold brakes alone look WEAK. The car will need to be VERY slammed, the wheels will need to have close to perfect fittment, and there will need to be other aspects of the car that lend themselves to this look.

the q45 retrofit on the gs looks so sick!!!

he is right, if your going to do this you need to make sure that you take the right steps to make everything flow perfect. Good luck man, and keep us posted.

I think sporty wheels look amazing in the low offsets you don't usually get to see. Like the GReddy Gullflame wheel - that would look even better than TE37s!

But if you're doing TE37s, reverse face or bust!

but like everyone said.....brakes and wheels + drop will have to be perfect and cant just do it alone.

those brakes are nice, im thinking of a jp kit with this set up.

You also have to remember that the car you like (pics above) is a GS and NOT an LS430. The GS stock looks much more sporty than an LS so it lends itself to these wheels a bit more. I think you are going to have a hard time pulling of the look without spending a lot of money to make it look just right.

you would have to go hardcore vip everywhere else and slam that beast on the floor to pull of the TE's.  They have ben used for years in japan as wangan wheels and then they came over here and the tuner scene rapped them.  But its a possibility to go VIP with them.  It will be a task. goodluck

Okay, then I am going to try it out and lets see how it looks after I am done, btw volk just release the te37 in a 20" size, so with a +15 offset on the rear that rim is going to look dope!!!!Thanks- (arigatou)

Just doesnt flow with the Luxury lines of the ls430.
Something new, but Wheels either make or break your car.
You can always buy some vip wheels, get em custom colored then you know, maybe paint on your red lip. Just my 2Cents

I say if thats what you want to do then do it, just make the car look great and make us proud!!!!

I dont think the time attack color would look that great. But if you had silver or polished 19in TEs with concave face and slammed with the correct offset you could easily pull it off.

i think the 30 can go sporty pretty effortlessly. i say give it a shot, thats how things are going over there anyway. the beautiful thing is they're just wheels... even if you get it right you gotta switch it up so no worries in getting it wrong.

I figure "why not"? 

The reason we mod our cars is to make it our own and so we don't look like everyother car that came off the show room floor. If we are doing it just to fit in or to be accepted, then we are doing it for the wrong reasons.

so i guess this dude never put the te37's on his ls430?
shame, i reckon it would have looked cool. modern vip cars in japan are heading more towards the sporty look these days anyway.
