changing the wheels color

there is no 'silver polish color'...paint cannot replicate the look of a polished wheel...your closest solution is to paint the wheels using the smallest metallic...bmw's 354 is a popular color to paint wheels with...

or hand polish them.

yea i think silver polish is not a color. do you think stripping my paint and polish it will be a good results?

do you know whether any bodyshop/wheelshop will do that for me?

polishing will not recreate that look either. it is actually machined (even though everyone calls it polished). there are intricate lines carved into the face of the and then the wheel is clearaed (which is my explanation for why they peel so often, no mid coat).
 
the closest recreation i've seen personally was more like brushed, but supposedly there are shops that can do it.
 
your best bet with such a common style of wheel would be to sell and repurchase.

If you want a diamond cut finish like the wheels in the second picture. that can only be achieved in a wheel repair shop. Basically the wheel repair ship will spin the wheel like a record and a small needle drags across the surface to give it its fine grooves and ones done they are usually hit with a shot of clear coat. If your wheel has a large center cap this may cause an assue with the repair shop based on the thinkness of the cap. So that is comething to consider.

how about powdercoating it? will the results be good?

ive seen a DIY of some dude who polished it and then went over it with sandpaper for that brushed finish..sounds sketchy as fuck but came out legit..

I like things that are sketchy! especially legit sketchy. :D

once you get it to a brushed look, you can clear it to really bring out the shine...personally, i never liked clear coat wheels...

 how you "clear" it? you mean by polishing it?

There IS a paint type product, that I've seen used on firearms, to give that brushed look. I'll post it up here when I get home, gun forums are blocked at work.

I noticed it said carbon steels, but no alloys...may not work for rims.
