Redoing my Setup yet Again...
Well, I will be redoing my hydraulic setup yet again.
For the amount of time I've been running juice, I have had what is called a two pump four dump setup...pretty much the standard configuration. This setup utilizes one pump for the front, one for the rear and one "dump" or valve per corner. While this is the quintessential setup, it does take up a fair amount of room and is quite limited in its abilities...
I will be soon running a one pump six dump, a VERY unconventional setup, even in the hydraulic world. I have yet to see one in action. This setup uses only one pump but has two three-dump manifolds. One of the manifolds is used for the front corners, and the other for the rears. The reason there are three dumps is because there are two corner valves, and one return valve. Basically I will have individual corner control, and the power of a four pump setup with 1/4 of the hardware
Here's a crude sketch of what it will look like in my spare tire well...completion date is late May. Stay tuned!
I'll keep pushing the envelope until more take my place...

Thanks, me too! Looking forward to it! There are currently five dump manifolds out there which essentially do the same thing. The difference with this setup is that I will be able to pancake down, since the setup utilizes return valves. On a one-five, if you were to let all of the fluid out, the front will always fall first due to the weight of the motor.

Very nice! I believe it was Reds (could be wrong) who had built-in dumps inside the pumps on some models. I love that! =)

All joking aside, I gotta see this. Pretty clear explanation.

those would defintely fit on the spare compartment. cant wait to see it done. how much does it cost to run a similar set up like that? FB and pancake right? no side to side.

This setup will actually do it all. Front, back, sides, pancake to sides, even pancake to three-wheel...complete control.
I am wiring it to have four switches: front, back, left side, right side. If I wanted, I could wire it for combos, but it's a Benz after all, and those are the only four commands I care about.
It's approximately $2,000 in parts for everything needed for installation

The two manifolds will be connected by a piece of hardline underneath...also, there are two slowdown valves, one off each manifold, which will connect to go to the return port.
The tees off of the manifolds go to the cylinders and to the accumulators.
