wheel dilemma UCF30

okay, here's the situation. I have a set of SSR professor MS-1 in 19" that I ordered for my '03 G35 coupe. see, I received them after I sold my G. Now I own '03 black on tan lexus ls430. My plans are to air it up and a mild kit. In the mean time, air and rims are my priority. So what should I do...should I run these wheels or sell these and go for another set? The other wheels I'm currently looking at are: 19" NKB trophy cups (not sure if that's the right wheel name), 19" Anceltion Glassenheit DISIX, 20" Leon Hardirrit Orden, or 20" Black Fleet Shinano 470. I see alot of ucf30s that go 20" and not much 19" which is why I'm not sure I should keep these (professors) wheels. I do understand that rolling and pulling is involved because of the fitment (19x9.5" 0 offset fronts, 19x11" +11 offset rear) but I plan to do an aggressive fitment w/ the other wheel choices above anyway. So what's your guyz opinion??

thats a tuff choice, but you know with those kind of offsets you're gonna need lots of fender mods. Just a roll or a shave wont cut it.

If you keep those 19's you'll be able to go lower when you lay out the car. You would also have a little bit better time fitting them due to it being an inch smaller than the 20's. BUT you have to do it right, or else they will look small.

see, that's what im afraid of. i'm assuming i will need a taller tire so it wont look too small, which won't give me much of a stretch. which i then would need to rely on fender work and possibly adjustable suspension arms. hmmm....

the NKB seiken cup? are probably one of my favorite all time 5star wheels. but id stick with the 19's. but it depends on what specs you ordered them in.
so what are the specs so that others can help out????
i unfortunately am unfamiliar with ucf platforms so i would be no help.

All very nice wheel choices.

Personally I prefer 19" unless you have a wheel well that demands a larger wheel. Cheaper tires, more sidewall, and generally larger dish. I have always wanted the DISIX.

Your SSR wheels will require a lot of fender work, camber etc. Go for it if you have the time and money and are up for the challenge.

Old thread but I'm curious what you did. i'm actually in the same situation. I bought some Rims for my G35 coupe and sold her before I mounted them. Now I'm stuck with some rims +12 offset and considering using them on my LS430 as I'm having a hard time getting back what I paid for them. Brand new rims and tires.... Please post pics of how your fitment was and what you had to do.. .Thanks
