Lame or not lame...

That is the question.  I really don't know how I feel about these.  They just came out, they use the 2010 W221 facelift style LED's on the bottom, and accented/sculpted the inner headlight housings more.  They look a little nicer then the copy of the 03-06 W220 facelift.  I just don't know how I feel about them.

They look decent compared to most ricey aftermarket headlights. Only problem is the projectors are probably garbage.

50/50. a little overdone for my tastes but at the same time they look pretty clean. undecided.

The projectors/cheesy halo's would be removed and replaced.  The more I look at them the more I like them.  Still undecided.

lame... the last year model headlights looked best...

Given how bad most aftermarket headlights look, I gotta say these aren't that bad at all.

i was checkin out what was avilable on ebay. i'm really feeling the plain clear depo projector models. always had good luck with depo. add a cutom retro like m45 projectors or something to really set it off (much easier in a projector housing).

If you leave them as is, lame.  If you change them up, not lame.  The actual LED's on the bottom won't look as good as they do in that pic, they will look like christmas tree decorations.  If you swap out the projector and change the LED's, they can look real nice.

Keep in mind, if the rest of the car looks stock or just don't go with the newer sporty style, it will look lame no matter what you do to them.  The rest of the build has to work with the lights.  Putting them on the car before the car is ready will take away from the ride.

You know me better then that! If I did it i'd replace the LEDs with bright/good ones and switch up the projectors and what-not.  I'm looking at the headlights as a canvas to paint on not the picture.  I see a lot of potenial in them, I think thats why I was split on them, cause I don't like them how they are, but I like how they could be.  Just like my rusted out W220.  Not doing anything anytime soon, trying to make a plan.  Can't get anywhere without a map.

Too many damn lines and crap in the housing and the whole LED strip in headlights are starting to get annoying seems like almost ever vehicle has that sh!t installed now.

They just don't flow with the car is my final thought.  If I was going super sporty nutso that'd be one thing but I like clean and classy and those headlights are neither. I'll stick with the 03-06 headlights from depo and modify them as I see fit.  Those are just a little too honda style for my tastes.  After seeing a old 4 door mitsu with headlights with the LED's I am as turned off as much as the time I realized the girl I was talking to was a man.

Actually I kinda want them.
