Z12 cube on the way

Hey there, my name is Paul! Had my 2009 Nissan cube krom for almost a year now. One of the most fun vehicles I have owned that is slowly being transformed into a VIP box of fun! :giggity: I miss the luxury of my previous rides so I am converting as much as I can! Here is what is going on so far. Part of a few communities so some of you may have already seen my cube.

The only thing I did not install myself was the custom cat-back. I would like to thank Paul at Conyers muffler shop!

Mods so far:

Tanabe Coil-overs
Custom dual tip cat-back exhaust
Arthur Exchange Salamander 18x8 +32
Toyo Proxes 205/40/18
Thule Aero Roof rack
Perrycraft roof rails
Alpine DD
OEM fog stalk
Aftermarket Fogs
Xentec HIDs
Debadge/Rebadge
35% front window tint
Stillen Hi-flow intake

Coming Soon:

Front Vent shades
OEM Kick plates
Dashkit
Interior chrome accents
140mm coil springs vs 170mm currently on (30mm of awesomeness!)

Coming Eventually

Ragtop!
NRG Pulley
Clazzio seats
Underbracing

Yo Yo Tbrack! Been surfing around trying to get some ideas on making my cube more VIP. Came upon this forum and decided to join and post since I have to. :P

Looking forward to seeing you at IA next month. I was going to roll in with the nico members, but got shafted last time so I am going to roll in with microimageonline. They seem like an awesome bunch and Garm can get you some awesome deals on cube/versa parts.

Debating on getting some Ultra racing products.

I think that would be awesome! I was planning on showing up with microimage, but it is mostly all yaris. However, I could probably show with them one day and then with us cubes the other day... It is a two day event! I'll see how things pan out. I have seen Omaris cube before. It is a pretty fun and original cube.

So how am I looking from the exterior now? I cannot get any lower than I am unfortunately, however I am flush on all 4 corners with slight pokeage.

Starting some work on the interior finally.
Also have some ultra racing bars coming in soon.

Chassis ground clearance is probably 3.5 to 4 inches. It is about 1/2 inch lower in the fronts than the rears. So when I do scrap, I am usually scraping my exhaust.. I cannot measure from there, but from the jack points it is 4 inches. Ride height to fender well for the fronts is 24 1/4 and the rear is 23 3/4. I will try and get some pictures tomorrow. Of the coils tomorrow.

Yea I'm debating it... I really don't like the clip-on yakima rack. I want a set-up like yours but that is a little too expensive...

Got a black wood vinyl and some chrome pieces....

After a failed first attempt, I decided to hack my way at it again...

I worked at this for like 5 hours.... I am still not quite satisfied with it because of all the curves on the dash make it near impossible to get the vinyl in there perfect.

Please let me know what you think of it and if I am headed in the right direction or if it is a little too ghetto style....

Opinions good or bad appreciated!

First picture is stock... And a professional photo.... I am no photographer

That is the same place I was going to get woodgrain done. You should look into water transfer or airbrushed woodgrain though... It might be more expensive but it is WELL worth the money. Dip-tech.net does good work I hear.

Hmmm... I would love to do that if my cube wasn't my daily. Although I did this for only $30 bucks! I guess you will see it in person in a few weeks too. You should def let me know what you will think about it... I am all for good or bad opinions on this since I am on the fence of tearing it out or leaving it in.

Did not get a change to look at the dash in daylight yet... that might change my mind...

You are right though...I have zero suspension travel in the fronts. Pretty much riding on the bump stops. :signdammit: oh wells, I only have an inch of ground clearance with the underbracing installed.

Hey man! Thanks for the advice, I did get some shorter coils at an awesome price, had them on one day and put back in the originals... Shorter coils did not lower the car at all and the ride became super bouncy... Damn bumpstops. :pat:

I am kind of torn on where to go right now... I have underbracing installed leaving about 1 inch of ground clearance. If I get the Ksports I can lower the car a little more than an 1 in the fronts and get CV binding at low turning speeds. I think I am better off leaving the car where I am at in the long run, but damn I want to be hellaflush!
