Green Tint 911!!

I'm supposed to get green tint Wednesday but I can't decide what %. I'm not sure if he can only get 35% but that's what he ordered already. I searched and found a bunch of pictures but my car's white and there wasn't many pictures.

Help me out fellas!! I need some advice and pictures!!:pat:

How is that Madico stuff? The guy that's supposed to do mines is going to use Llumar AT35GN it looks really good but I'm afraid it might not be noticeable with my black interior.

Would the Black Q45 be using a metallic/chrome tint or is it due to the tint being darker?

i think thats metallic but viptint would know for sure

yup thats a metal film.  im looking for something similar to that but lighter, a reflective light green.  ive found it but not available to the US.  i might try a lil harder to get it.  i havent even called the manufacturer yet

Most cars do 60% or 35%?

Wow that looks perfect! But I don't think I can get anything other than 35% :sad:

The only good thing is that he warranties my tint for life.

a 50-55% tint on auto glass will meter around 45%

Probably because a lot of cars have their windows slightly tinted from the factory?

after mr isuxel does his , i will probably get it done also :p

oh yea...i know our LS's have this wierd bronzeish tint.

wait for iSuxeL to post pics. the at35gr is a film that any llumar dealer can get.  but if you want it lighter its going to be harder to source.

Hey guys the tint came out freakin awesome! I can't seem to capture the color too well so I don't know what to do LOL. IMO if you could find something around 40%ish then that would be ideal. 

vip tint+glass - I'm getting my front windshield done in that Air80 blue, that thing is pretty sick. 99% UV protection and 48% heat reduction (I'm sure you already knew that haha)

i think its more like 43-44% but its still a great film, too bad its pricey

 did you try Genesis window tinting? They are off waterman in between Grant line and Elk Grove blvd, they  do llumar and they can get green

iSuxel what tint did you use on the side windows? Did you do the llumar green on the sides and the 80airblue on the front?

I used AT35GN for all of the windows and Air80 blue for the front windshield. Sorry I can't post any pics yet cause the car is not drivable and it can't move LOL (no wheels)

:pat: hate when that happens!! On a lighter note got 25% green tint on ebay super cheap for a whole roll! Hoping the same thing dont happen to me! Looks good one way then when you see it up close it looks totally different!! Will know by this weekend!

careful it's not the glue that's tinted.... bought a roll of red that turned orange then yellow, and now it's pretty much clear... like $60 for the roll on the bay... you want green tint? I know where to get it..... =)

thats dope! well i got the roll for $25 shipped! it cost more to ship than what i paid for it.LOL figured what the hell if i dont like it can always remove it. will def post up pix when i get it. If it dont work i will hit you up lv2. @kouki i will pm you later this week about questions on plastic chroming.

was going to have all my windows done in a traditional blue BUT I'm leaning towards green for that wtf factor =)

yelp reviews for song's tint masters (STM) are kinda spotty -- i'd probably only go there if i was dead set on rocking huper optik film (which i wasn't, which is why i went to norman at vip tint instead :P)

the film i have been using isnt made anymore.  im pretty much saving the last i have to retint blitz's car in green again after he got the car painted.

STM bought a roll of it too back in the day but i heard they are out of it as well.

50% green isnt made by anybody right now that is available in the US.

Im still trying to get a hold of some good out of country stuff

What is the difference btw 35% and 50% green?  35 is more darker shade of green?

What brand is it?  Can we see a photo of the car with the tint installed?

Can tell u guys right now that anything colored is dyed film which means it won't last. It will all fade over time. Sometimes less than a year. Cheap

There are expensive blue/green tint film.  Do those fade also?

Think Llumar still offers it. But no fading warranty. Not to mention its illegal. Actually, think I might still have old Llumar green from back in the early 90's. Cholo low riders loved it. Lol Ill look if u guys are really interested
