Noob UCF30 Build

Picked up an 01 LS430 UL and am using it as my VIP platform build.

Its a little rough around the edges.  This was when I first picked it  up.

Dropped it off at a friends shop to get cleaned up.  Wasnt digging the gold package that was on the car so my homie worked his magic on it.  No we didnt change it out.

Looks way better without the chrome. The gold grill frame really threw me off.

Thanks for the compliments.  Im planning on doing a youzealand ss pro kit and data system controller shortly.  Work on getting my stance and then find some wheels for it.  Also need to find a solution to the stock stereo system.  I want to upgrade the factory speakers and add a good sub stage.  But the stock ML nav system is looking like a pita.

Hmm what should be next on my list?  Im thinking of doing youzealand ss pro kit and putting the longer OE LCAs to get more camber in the rear.  Also roll fender and spacers to get the wheel fitment more flush.

More camber is always good. An exhaust would be a good touch for the back as well!

Regular ss. Not running crazy wheels so stayed with the regular.  Besides, gotta save my money to buy a kit.  Hopefully I'll have enuff by November since Sema is coming to town and I think VSC is trying to set something up.

Kool what kit are you planning on?  Im thinking of doing a kit down the line sense my rear bumper is a little fubar.

Just doing a lip kit.  Not really sure but I asked Samson for some advice on a kit.  Going with something hardly seen and installed which means big bucks. hahaha.  I already paid an arm and leg for the wheels so why go half ass on the kit. :eek2:

Got my youzealand ss pro kit ordered today.  Hope they dont take to long to come in.  Should get my ride height where I want it.

You have any more wheel specs?  And how is the ride at that height?

Dont remember the wheels specs off hand but im pretty sure they were 20x9.5 +35 all around.  The ride is bad at the lowest driveable height.  I wouldnt recomend it.  That is why Im doing the youzealand kit and going to adjust it up a little bit.  Should make the ride better and still have the low stance.

Got my Youzealand SS Pro kit installed.  At first with the Datasystems set a 0 all around the back of the car was sitting a lot higher then the front.  I figure its because of how the kit lowers the car?  Not sure but for it to sit somewhat level we had to adjust the back down to 3.

Ahh my front wheels are rubbing the fenders when I air down the front even a little.  Im guessing the only way to roll with the front lower is to add camber.  Are the Nagisa arms my only option?

I'm kind of wanting to swap my 21's DTX in the front for 20's for better driveability.  Does a local shop have those in stock?

Yes sir.  They just got in a shipment of AME and Trafficstar wheels.  The have 2 sets of the DTX in 20x10 and 20x11.  One set is really aggressive fitment and the one Im looking at would require some slight fender mods.

Small update got some garax crystal lenses for my dome/map lights and redid the leds.

Can you say bright?!?!  The leds light up the whole interior like its the middle of the day =) at night.

Local shop had a set in stock so I scooped them up before they sold =)

Another small update but got some JDM window visors installed.  Oh and have some new shoes =)  But you're going to have to wait a lil before I post up pics of those :giggity:

How much camber did u get with that ,ower arm bro and do u have a rear shot (nohomo), i wana kno b4 i peck up a set, thanx alot....

At ride height its at 4* but there is a lot more adjustment to add camber.  I just needed enough for it to be flush at ride height.  I dont have any ass shots of the car but can get some later.

Air setup was my coup de gras in hopes of taking home a 1st place.  Custom made 304SS rectangular tank with 316SS hard lines, 316SS fittings, 316SS liquid filled gauges, and 316SS ball valves.

All the fittings besides the Accuair VU4 are double ferrule compression fittings.  And they do not leak.  The Accuair VU4 PTC connections were a little troublesome.  There is a little trick to getting them to work =)

What do you mean maxed out?  There is still a ton of adjustment for camber but as far as how low it goes, pretty sure its hitting the inside fender wells.

Yeah there is a lot more adjustment for negative camber.

My sound deadener just came in so Im going to deaden the doors before I do final install of the speakers.

Also in the works is a set of pods up on the dash with a 3" fullrange and AT driver.  Not sure what Im doing for sub duty yet but I have a few options at my disposal.
