Fitment after lowering.

It is known that your rears will camber in the lower you drop your car. After installing the BC Coilovers. I would like to have a flush fitment without cambering in the rear resulting in tire wear and possibly bubbling tires.

I've read that there are control arms/camber kits available for our 3rd Gen Altimas Eibach and Ichiban from what I've found.

After purchasing these, would it be possible to have enough room after installing to be able to have a flush fitment in rear w/o cambering in?

Thanks for the advice and help.

Below are pics of the fitment I'm looking for in the rear without having to camber in like these rides have done.

This would be ideal what I would like in the rear.

This is what usually I've seen with those with flush fitment in rear, camber in.

What needs to be done depends on wheel and tire sizing. More than likely you will have to do some fender pulling and more than normal since you are not wanting camber. Pretty much widebody work.

Either that or he's gona have to buy some weaksauce offset wheels and put proper size tires on and not tuck tire or go to low. If he doesn't go to low he won't need the fender work. And most people who run proper tires without going low suspension wise is kitted up. That way it gives the effect of being Low

for no camber flush and low you will need:

narrower/higher offset wheels
more stretch
more inner fender clearance work
stiff suspension since the wheel probably won't tuck under compression.

doable though.

Only reason i commented on fender work mainly was it seems he wants the stretched tire/lip kiss fender fitment but with out camber. If he were to buy lower off set wheels then the lip would sit inside the fender. But again everything depends on the size wheels he wants to fit.

i dig what you're saying, just depends on perspective. my checklist was referring to stock body.

for a wheel to fit without camber, and without flare/widebody work, it would need to be higher offset/narrower than the same setup with camber. if you are willing to do flare/widebody work then you can disregard this.

You're gonna need to strech way more to kiss the wheels.

Assumin your wheels have lil to zero camber right now, if you lower it enough to get the wheels met up to the fenders you'd def need to roll, and probably a slight pull too. That's if you can get it that low. And like BOB98 said, you're gonna need a solid suspension to not chew up the fenders if your plannin to get it on top of the wheels.
Also, my guess is them control arms/camber kits probably help straighten camber for a lowered car, but if your lookin to dump the sh!t outta your ride, it probably still won't getcha to zero camber. Off the shelf parts like that don't give too much room for adjustment, they only help a lil bit

The issue you'll run into if you go lower and have the lip flush with, or past the edge of the fender is that if you don't have quite enough camber, the wheel would move up into the metal of the fender, rather than skimming past it on the inside.

Pay particular attention the amount of camber that occurs when the suspension is compressed, then adjust until you have the right balance of fitment and clearance. BlackOnBlack is 100% right.

Here is a comparison really..this guy has the exact same wheels/tires
His 20 x 9.5 35et 225/35/20
Mine 20 x 9.5 40et 225/35/20

Here is when he was on coilovers dropped low..(20 x 9.5 35et)
Forum image
Forum image

Now here he is dropped even lower on the coilovers, i believe more camber, as before (20 x 9.5 35et)

I'm have them in 20 x 9.5 40et <---is this enough to offset the 35et he has and supposedly having to do less camber for fitment rim/fender/tire instead of his fender/rim/tire. I appreciate all the help..

honestly..a little bit of camber doesnt hurt..i think ive been running my natural camber (which is like -3 or something) for like almost a year with my new set of wheels n tires..and i havent had to replace any of em due to tire wear..i think they still have a lot more to go too..i think that if u have ur toe set correctly then u should be fine..

now..unless u wanted the NON-CAMBERED "look"..then i guess my comment doesnt help..but yea..a lil camber doesnt hurt:biggthumpup:

if you want flush like that FC, then youll have to stiffen your springs up like crazy.
Im going to assume that youre probably IRS all around. so youll need yees, crazy stiff springs for flush and lowness.

from the pics that other altime looks flush, but i bet it is a hair off.

What setting should the toe be at when having camber as far as tire wear etc...
