Don't tell me what you know, tell me where you'd traveled

Started seeing the world this year. Lived in Germany when I was younger but don't remember much of Austria, Italy, and the other places we visited. I've been wanting to see the world so I finally said F it and went.

This summer I visited Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Hachinohe and places in between) and Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

I think it was a good start. Both trips were amazing.

Where have you traveled this year? or in your lifetime?

I'm thinking Dubai, Taipei, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and a bunch of other places for my next trip. Not sure which is next

I've lived in: Texas, Louisiana, England, Maryland, and California.

Countries I've visited: England (5 or 6 times), Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Japan (6 times)

I'd really like to take a trip around Europe, no desire to visit any of the Middle East or China though. I also want to visit the Caribbean islands more than just about anything though.

I highly recommend Providenciales if you like beaches that aren't packed with tourists/families. I was the only person on the beach every sunrise and sunset. During the day there was probably a max of 10-20 people that you could see. It was wonderful

If you can travel, do it!

I've traveled to Nevada, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, New York, Virginia, Hawaii, Germany, Luxembourg, Canada, Vietnam, France.

Germany i enjoyed the most, maybe because i was drunk most of my whole trip!

Awesome. Would you recommend it for a week or less? I'm trying to see as much as I can but since I work fulltime I'm not able to take super long trips. Tokyo trip was a week but that used most of my leave time. The island trip was a long weekend trip but it was worth it for sure. Not sure what I'd do there but skiing inside a mall would be fun haha

I'm all for long trips but I think that's the main reason people don't see the world. They only want to go if its for a long time. I know that's better but if I do that I won't be able to see much in my lifetime. A trip is a trip to me as long as I'm going somewhere I've never seen before

a week would be too long maybe. you will hate the weather, and you won't be there long enough to climatize. so just under a week would be a good choice.

Awesome. I was thinking my next trip would be a 4 or 5 night stay probably. I mean, just being there and seeing the tallest building in the world would be worth it to me. Plane tickets don't look as expensive as the last time I checked either so that's nice
