LAX Wheel does great work. They work miracles. Only thing I'm not a fan of is their clearcoat. They lay it on very thick.

They definitely do great work. The first time I used them was about 8-9 years back and they had had a big fire there, the roof was missing, and you could call a hundred times and they wouldn't answer, so you had to hope when you went someone would be there who could help you. Is the guy who still runs it Jesus?

What the frack. I would have binned the wheel right there and then, I would have never imagined it was reparable.

LAX is a major OEM refinisher, when I first went there, they had pallets of Dodge truck wheels, like I thought they were an OE manufacturer but I guess they had re-finished all those wheels.

It's integrity is probably lost. I've gotten wheels repaired with much less damage and it's easy to bend at the same spot. I wouldn't even want it back after something like that. How the hell did you manage that?

I was wondering the same thing. I taco'd one of my rims and had it repaired and from that point on, that rim was so sensitive. I was told they heated it and bent iit back to shape, the refinished it. It looked great, but it wasnt worth shit on the road.

Yeap, Happened to my leons. Owner after me had it crack at the same spot. I've heard the same about powder coating. They have to raise the temp. of the wheel so high to do it properly that it ends up making it weaker.
