yea i got some new rims on them now the vellano vtl with the entend lip but im tryin to sell it n tryin goin for the look on the lexus lik the wheels goin neg camber n stuff.

You are going to have the be the first.  I havn't seen anything too crazy in Japanese blogs, just basics (wheels, kit, lowering links).

There is a camber kit for the w221. Google it.

cant i just use the factory camber

if its anything like my benz in order to get camber adjustment in the rear, you need the camber kit...kmac makes one that sells for $300 and you only get ~2*...on my car the fronts are adjustable...may be different for w221's though...

Damn, I am in to see how this turns out....I love this bodystyle and its definately on my list of future purchases.

ive seen it in person a few times at the local meets. the wheels arent my thing but it looks great otherwise. your buddys audi is very nice as well.

ya i saw yours at coffee n cars as well. 265/30/22 should stretch onto a 10.5, but it depends on the brand. empire or wayside tire would be able to mount it.

im got nitto invo 245/25/22f n 275/30/22 rite now .what brand u think i should run.i get my tires done at stero fedx up north.

Dude im in the same boat.... i know there is platforms for said "VIP" but i love the S class soo much i wanted to do the same thing! i been looking to buy one for 2 months scouring the dealers and ebay and craiglist for a sweet deal but when ever i get the one, it gets sold under me.....im looking for an AWD with Pano Roof and KeyLess Go Pkg and must be black interior and but Exterior can be either in white or black Only.(now im hearing AWD is not the way to go because of fitment of wheels, not sure how true this is.)....but i was going for the AWD cause of these damn New York snowstorms recently, at any rate i guess if its true then i have to say bye bye to the AWD option,
 
im still hunting, but after coming to this thread i have to say "YOU ARE THE MAN!" my vision is similar but w/diffrent kit , diffrent wheels, diffrent stance when slammed, i want a laying evenly flat look w/negative camber.
 
as a matter of factly i would first Bagg it then do rims and tires and then see if i even need a kit.....i want to be as low aspossible to get that crazy camber effect when i slamm it, but go almost norm when i bring it to ride height if possible.....again this is all ideas and high expectations , let me get the car 1st lol!!

 i got some a set of airbag for the sw221 so if u decide to get it i got the whole kit n got alot of goods that ill give u..also i got a set of lorinser fender(new)also

I saw your car at a CnC meet a while back. LOoked awesome, only thing I didn't like was the wheels but the new set was all you needed.

 thanks..u probably seen the vellano wheels i had or my maya wheels but now i got some vip modual i got pics post if u seen it in this thread.well im tryin to go for the flush look but i been threw three set of tires n just order some new tires today so hope this will work..really u can really go that neg on the camber bc i bought after market camber n it didnt really make much of a diff

Dude u waited soo long lol.....im jkg ....i couldnt find what i was looking for in an S550 anyway so i gave up , i truly said F it!! 
 
frustrated from getting the damn white on tan every single time but never a white on black and if i did it was ill maintained with like 3 owners and accidents or no pano roof , but i did get a car.....i got the same wants and needs except for the pano roof but i still got a deal i got an LS460 cleaner than clean....so lets see what i can do with this ....i really didnt expect to lean to this platform but it is what it is..........hopefully i can get something goin soon....thanks for the offer on the goods...i wish i had ur shoes, but i guess i have to wear my own....

yeah they are hott at 5 inches stretch than the LS460 and boy can you tell the diffrnce in the knee space ...problem is i couldnt get the L in white on Black, but they have a few by me in silver only....not even a black on black that was descent enuf to buy, i think the silver we test drove they wanted like 48 thousand but it wasnt super clean and the color grey on grey was not for me and it came with CPO, but your talking 52k out the door with an ugly color combo....unless u order new and then get what u want....but then $$$$$$ cha---CHING!!

some do, some don't. i'm not 100% on this particular vehicle, but theres also aftermarket modules to use to trick the vehicle so it doesn't throw a code if you decide to change to coilovers or any kind of aftermarket suspension.
