y33 increasing front camber on maxed-out camber plates

hey guys, my camber plates are maxed out negative, but i'd like 1.5* more neg camber to even out the look front-to-rear. is there a method to get more out of the y33 front suspension that i haven't thought about? i'm running y33 coilovers, so i can't slot the bottom shock mount :(

Couple of ways you can do this...

A. If you were to convert your front suspension setup to a S14 setup, meaning S14 knuckles, hubs, coilovers/tophat, outter tie rod, and aftermarket front LCA, you'd be able to get more camber out of it.  But if you go this route, you'll loose your front sway bar since Y33 front sway bars mount to the shock assembly.  But you'll be able to get your camber needs.

OR...

B. Get aftermarket S14 Front LCA, which looks like this

and you'll have to get new shank that'll fit the Y33 knuckles because S14 and Y33 ball joints are very different and will not work.

C. Modify your LCA or S14 LCA since they are very simular in length and size. the part that needs to me modified is the inner side of the LCA that bolts up to the front engine cross member. you'll need to have it cut and welded and put on a heim joint on the inner side so that you'll be able to push out the Front LCA put further, giving you more camber.
and that'll look simular to this when it's done.

So...option D would be, don't worry about it.

YOu got any pics of your car w/ the camber plates maxed out?
 
I was told if I maxed mine out, it'd might raise the height and also it'll cause me to run through tires quickly
 
If I pick up a daily though, I wanna max em out so they match my rears more like you mentioned

I can vouch for front camber bein maxed, and I deff doesn't match what he's got in the rear (no homo)

well, according to the alignment machine, i'm at -4* dead on -- that's the most i can get at this height. it looks weird when i'm running almost -7* on the rear.

That's the front's all the way maxed out?
 
My rear according to the sheet is about -4/5 but that's not at ride hieght.
My kit prevented me from being able to do a alignment at proper ride height :(
 
I don't have my fronts maxed out but the sheet (Not at ride height) says about -2/3

Brokey is running like -7+ in the rear and that sh*t looks CRAZY as shit when you're behind it! But I'm starting to love the bigger camber look more and more. Dies have it's limits to me at least

ok guys, i think i'm going to pick up the battle version weld-on lca adjuster kit. hopefully it works with the y33 lca. i'll keep this thread updated!

should work, get it for S14 lca. since s13 lca is about 1/2 shorter then s14 lca

s14 flca are 15mm longer then s14 ones.

that looks similar to the amount of camber i can get right now. anyway, i'm saving some pennies to get the FLCA modded -- i can get more camber and track width. yay!

It is crazy though, how many people are doin the swaps. So many S chassis ae gonna be without parts because of Y33 guys

nah, even new the parts are cheap honestly. only used parts id use are the brake caliper and knuckle. everything else id buy new

the lower control arms are about 2bills each new..
