my 2gs stages thru the years

hey guys. i finally want to show you guys the stages my cars gone thru. i think its at a pretty good stage now that i can show it off. i've had my car for 2 years now and its been great.

first upgrades i bought were Stance coilovers and some crappy Stern st2. i didnt know what i was thinking. 19x8.5 +32?!?!

i then did my custom Junction produce style mufflers

i even had a roofrack at one time.

then i bought my current wheels. they were diamond-in-the-rough condition.
specs were like 19x8.5+32 and 19x9+25

i stripped the black powdercoat off and they were chrome underneath. so i kept em chrome and i've been rockin em ever since.

i then decided to add some lippage to the wheels. i was about to do 6"  but i got scared. so i ended up with 4.5" lips. i replaced the front  lips and moved the rear wheels to the front.

during the same time as the wheel rebuild, i decided to go air. i went with UAS bags
getting all my bag stuff together took a long time. took about 1 whole month to get everything put together

bags were done and i was quite happy how they perform. im using 1/4"  lines and they are pretty fast at up/down movements. i dont know why  anyone would run any bigger than 1/4

wheels didnt fit like they should, so i had to pull the quarters. I did  it myself and i never stopped to test fit. so i ended up pulling more  than i needed.

so thats been it so far. i've added small things along the way, but those are just accessories that arent significant.
i will add nice pics later on when i go out with some buddies and take some shots with a nice SLR. for now, this is it

Wow, it is coming out great man! Where did you get the new lips for your rims? Also on your air setup where did you get the t's to run 1/4" line from the valves?

Looks like you got a really good pull out of those rear fenders, you couldve gotten a 6" lip on there! Put the rear on the front now and redo the backs again! haha.

you mean the street tee? i got it at valleyhydraulic.com they are cheap and quite fast on shipping

i pulled em with a fender roller. i got paint cracking on the left side, but it was already cracked from riding too low. the quarter panel hit the tire when i went over train tracks. this happened before i pulled it.

I love the wheels. Amazing what a little elbow grease will do! Stance looks great!

Do you have a link or phone number to that wheel shop? I think a lot of us are looking for full reverse lips from the after market.

Lovin The Stance. i agree on putting the rear lips on the front's and getting them 6" lips for the rears!!.  oh and +1 on the Wheel Lip Source.

hah yea it was pretty useful. i even took my GS on a camping trip with my frends. i took 2 bikes on my roof. and loaded with gear. slammed my car hardcore with all that weight + 2 passengers
they wheel shop i went to is in Santa ana. they are called "new year wheel" u can google them up, because the number changes. i just call one of their workers directly. u can ask for Rene and tell em crazy chino sent u

Thanks. i have a EAI 5 switch switch box.
yea its just a DD quad 4 gauge. rubbing issue still exists. i just rubbed some grease over that spot to lessen the rubbing friction

You guys should look into the ride technologies shock waves.  LiLS is running custom shockwaves front and rear.

The car has come a long way.  Really nice progess.

Get those brackets asap.  They are not that much and help with rubbing.  They also get the front 1" lower which is a plus

yea i have those brackets already. i had it wen i first got the bags. it rubbed before, but recently, i havent seen any rubbing! soooooo im happy now
