How hard is it to do the hardness conv. for the swap?

We got a few local guys running 2jz's in their s14s. good luck.

Funny that people can't tell that it's a 1JZ and not a 2JZ.  The  1JZ is substantially cheaper than the 2JZ-GTE, and parts wasn't that hard to find.  I had a 1jz on my old SC300, that was one of the best decision I've ever made.  I love this motor, I can't wait to see you swap it in.  Keep us posted and good luck.  Take lots of pictures man.  :)

HAHAHAAHA wow good eye yeah this motor was $1924 shipped with tranny ecu and wiring and from what i understand the parts are very easy to find id give it another month till i put it in im still in the cleaning process the pcv was bad so it was sucking up a lil bit of oil and i just painted the valve covers a VERY nice silver with a lot of pearl(ill post pics tonight) The clutch is bad so it will be rebuilt and i have to order my mount setup from turbodave fabrication($360) and buy my drive shaft here in the new few weeks($250). I just got a really nice deal on a special edition black hks ssq bov with a pipe and flange for $150 and some hosing for my intercooler setup. I really need a 92-95 Toyota supra/sc300 water pump to eliminate the one thats on 1j. But the swap should go through nicely. and shouldnt take but a weekend and a few 6 packs of shiner:biggthumpup: to get running.

HAHAHAHA^^^^ I was really thinking about getting rig of it to get a gs to put this motor in but im not sure yet if i get a gs i can almost promis it will be my daily drift car any way i just put the intake manifold back on the 1j and painted the valve covers

you cant really see in the pic but its silver base coat and it changes from pink to gold in the sun.

You really should get a Tial Q blow off valve they sound so sick. I have one on my R33 and it is the best sound ever.

very cool.  1j's are fairly easy to stuff into a s chasis.  Not too hard to find parts either but good luck.

yay i ran into problems i have also been waiting a month on a driveshaft YAYY!Y!!!!!!!

drive shaft is in and on the car i leave for cali monday so it will be another week and a half before im able to do the wiring

yeah the car will remain stock for a while

ok so after months of work the 1j is now running. Im trying to get a few videos of it uploaded so yall can see it run. i have to say that im glad i went with this swap instead of the sr20 the extra power is great. 2nd - 4th at full throtle has no traction at all.
