Sorry, I'm not doing curtains due to the fact it is not a platform. There aren't any rules to style because I'm not forum troll or heritage bound to do so. If there is a regulation please provide it to me. I have been doing before the hellas toilet flush movement lol. I'm not going to stretch...put wrong offsets or bolt patterns to earn a sticker
I drive this car daily. Style is u take certain aspects and put your spin on it.

not really finding anything vip style on this car either. the trunk set up is nice though.
and wtf is "wrong offset"? :pat:
you can go aggressive as you like as long as you have the balls to do the body work to make it looks right.

I'm pretty sure the 'curtains' comment was sarcasm. The more time you spend here the better you'll understand.
Yup, need to go lower which seems to me like you'll need to roll the lips, swap front tires to rear and get new fronts to gain some clearance for said lower stance.
It's a very nice car regardless.

Thanks for the comments gentleman, but I'm not going any lower. I live in Georgia and commute to Atlanta everyday. The roads destroy any aggressive fitment and extremely lowered cars. I already have enough issues with just driving on the opposite side of the road to avoid these craters. Everything is on a damn hill here and I've already bottomed out before. I'll pass on that because no damn tow truck wants to load a lowered vehicle.
Now do I want to go more lowered and go with different setup.....yes. But it's just not feasible right now because all I will be doing is repairing the car every month. Hell, I've already repaired my rims 6 times already. I've rolled all my fenders already otherwise I would be scrapping all the way home.
@Q45er,cheez80,brainneeded,BAHC, speedaddict What I'm trying to understand though is why everyone is saying it's not vip style. Per it's definition it is the following:
Cars associated with VIP style usually have common characteristics, such as large diameter rims (usually broad faced designs) with low offsets that sit flush with the fender, exhausts that stick out past the rear bumper (although not so much emphasized these days), a full bodykit or lip kit, glossy paint and a lowered ride height. It is not uncommon to see extremely negative camber on many VIP style cars. Traditional colors of VIP Style cars are usually black, white, grey and silver.
I have large diameter wheels.....I sit flush with the fenders....I have a lip kit........negative camber.........it's black.......I do have negative camber, because I had to get front and rear camber kits to prevent my tires for being ate up like 3 piece chicken dinner.
Now if there is a new definition, please help me on it so I won't make the mistake again.

there is no "true" definition of VIP. while there are specific styles and brands of parts that go with it, it's one of those things that you just know it when you see it.
stick around, read the forums, be open to differing opinions, and learn. then you'll see what we're talking about.

Thanks @ brainneeded ! I am thinking about swapping the suspension and going coils. Lower the rear a lil more like one more inch and changing the rear tire size to tuck it. Also i'm eying some two pieces , but I have to get me another DD before I go all out.

there's a certain je ne sais quoi that most vip cars have -- as said by justice stewart, "i'll know it when i see it", and when i see yours, i don't see it. you'll need to go way more aggressive with fitment and height to be called vip styled. it's all about the stance!
anyway, i get your reservations about going lower, but look at the NYC guys for inspiration -- their roads are some of the worst in the nation and they all drive super slammed. i work in hollywood, which has craters the size of texas, and i'm still trying to go lower.

stop listening to what people say about vip cars, and start looking at actual vip cars. expend your horizons beyond wikipedia. buy some magazines from the vendors of the fs section (i personally prefer older issues), start searchin the web for japanese examples (youtube, minkara, etc.), and hang out on the forum. there's a lot more bad info out there than good but luckily you are in the right spot for enlightenment.

sstern0626 you car is dope dont get me wrong! but there are subtle things you can do to really set if off and it just take some time to observe others, and get advice from VIPers that have been doing it for a while and have had several builds under there belt. But most important KEEP AT IT!! and the road think hell go low or go home!! hahaha  I say if your slammed and you can make it up your drive way then your GOOD TO GO! hahaha

yea its already been stated, but ill readdress it anyway since your question was also directed at me. VIP isnt about fitting in a broad description, its about a certain "feel" that your car gives off. Relatively speaking, to other VIP cars, youre not low, and youre not flush, and even if you were, those two things are only a fraction of VIP anyway. but who cares about a label anyway...the g35 is a clean car, just keep working at making a NICE car.
