New here, not quite VIP style but............

Hey guys, I am new here, had some guys in Nevada at the SEMA cruise hook me up to this site. My car is not quite what you would call VIP IMO but I love the VIP stuff, I hope that counts.
Here are some pics of my ride previous, Its under the knife right now getting a bunch more goodies.

Welcome!
Very nice car. Lovin' the seats and engine bay. What kind of numbers does it put down now and what's the goal with the new setup? Any track times? I'm a musclecar guy at heart so keep us posted.
Only think I personally would change is the front bumper. Its too bulbous and extends too far forward for my liking. Its not my car so my opinion doesnt really matter in the end.

Damn that interior is so clean! What are those Recaros out of? I think the front bumper could be pulled off if you rebarreled the wheels. If you ask me, that should be on the top of your list for that car.

Other than needing to be wider I think it awsome. Where did the supercharger set up for it come from?

I dont like the front either, I actually sold it.
Here is whats going on it. Its a Modified AC front, there will be a intercooler in the center, oil cooler on the left and a billet intake on the right.
As far as numbers I never really finished it with a full tune.
The next build is targeted to around 600 RWHP (fingers crossed)

I have a bunch of progress pics I could post.

Front seats are Recaro trend aftermarket with supra brackets, rears are custom sewn from a hide I ordered from recaro.

Supercharger intake came from the aussies, the M90 was a ford unit, ne one is a whipple.
Here are some teaser shots of stuff to come.

Wood grain steering wheel done in black wood to match the rest, also a wood gauge panel and wood Momo shift knob.

Here are some highlights of the build.
Car is a 6 speed Getrag conversion
Has a complete Supra 6 speed subframe assembly and diff

Block- The block is a modified 2uzfe iron block, converted from 2 bolt main to 4 bolt main by using 1uzfe 6 bolt main caps.

Crank- Stock 1UZFE forged steel crank

Mains- Stock 1UZFE 6 bolt mains but only 4 used (no side bolts) and 2UZFE ARP Main Studs

Rods- Modified Chevy 5.7 H-Beam Rods (Lextreme III) with ARP L19 bolts

Pistons- Custom Ross Forged Pistons with Chevy rods pin size 8.8:1 compression

Pins- Chevy Race piston pins

Heads- Moderately Ported 1UZFE heads

Valves- Lextreme stainless steel oversize valves

Springs- Kelford matched springs

Cams- Kelford custom Ground

Studs & Bolts- Custom ARP 7/16"studs are used on the heads along with ARP Rod bolts

Ignition- Tundra COP's with a Kenne Bell Boost-a-spark

Fuel - Denso pump with a Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump

Engine managment - AEM Supra 6 speed stand alone, it has been modified by Mitch P to operate the V8

Headers- Rush imports long tube 1.75" SS headers dumping to dual 2.5" pipe

Supercharger- Whipple 2.3 twin screw (15lb and 20lb pulleys)

Throttle body- Modified GM with IACV built in, it is ported to a 78mm

Intercooler- Air over water with a water cooler in the intake.

Belt drive- 8 rib dedicated drive set up

Injectors- just sold what I had, looking to get a set of 625-650cc

Aux cooling- I have a Aquamist Methonal system

Timing- Adjustable Cam sprockets

The cams and valvetrane are a long story but at the end of the day its a shimless valvetrane using Prius lifters, longer valve tips and cams with a .100" larger base circle (can expand on this if you are interested).

Is that enough info or are you looking for more detail?

The Tundra COP's fit under them, I actually modified the COP's to fit and reach the plugs. All the wires for the COP's ar under the covers and out the back side. The covers are somthing I made.

The fronts are from recaro, the rears are custom sewn. You can find similar seats in some newer cars as OEM but I cant remember which ones have them.

Loving what you did with the interior man. I was really thinking about a black and tan combo with mine too. Where did you order your woodgrain trim from? It would look sick if you powdercoated your wheels flat black imo!

I am looking forward to the front as well, lots of work to do yet on the new set up but I will get there. I have a set of 10mm spacers to try on it, we will see.

The Black wood is hydrographic print, it looks like real wood. I had it done at phoenix imaging in Tyler TX.

Well the Recaros are Recaro Trend seats, google it and you will find them. They have actually come down a bit. You can get them for around $900 each. The thing I dont see is the color I got, I am not sue if Recaro offers it anymore. I know when I got mine I also ordered a full Hide of matching Leather to have the back custom made to match. If you start looking around there are a few OEM cars that came with the trend seats or a very similar Recaro seat, these could save you a load of cash if you find them.
