2010 SEMA VIP MEET!!!

Attention all VIP fans!!! This years SEMA x VIP MEET is currently being worked on and we are working out the details. The initial staging area [I]should[/I] be the same as last year but the cruise will be longer and the final end point/meet area is under review.

Many areas are being considered and currently I'm waiting for answers. Please stay tuned for further info. 

If you'd like to chime in that your are going add your name to the list! This will give us an idea how much space we'll need.

[/SIZE][SIZE=2]Just for clarification the meet is in the parking lot  between Bahama Breeze and Starbucks on the NE corner of Flamingo and  Paradise. It's best to come in from the south bound lanes on Paradise. 

Meeting time is 8PM until 9PM. Then we roll out at 9PM.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

The cruise will head south on Paradise and connect to the 215 for a  quick run through the Airport Tunnel. Get your cameras out! We link up  back on the Strip around Town Square and slow it back down to regroup.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

We will then take it low N slow down the Strip until we hit Convention  Center Dr (just past Encore) and regroup at the Indoor Skydiving parking  lot (on the left). [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

Then we'll head south down the Strip to Spring Mountain Rd (corner of  Fashion Show Mall) make a right, and the Fukubuger Truck will be on the  right 2 lights after the freeway. [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

There will reserved parking area VIP cars to the right of the Fukuburger Truck. [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

We (AZ people) are expecting same as last year like Thursday night or maybe Friday Night...  on Saturday we are planing to go to SD for VIP festival....

Damn....have to miss this year.  Just spent $15 grand on remodeling my master bath, so vaca money is gone.....:pat:

I'd suggest a different meeting spot than last year.  That parking lot was hella dark with hardly any lights.

That's just the photographer part of me voicing my opinion :)

We ended up staying at a hotel literally 5mins from AutoFashion.  That's why we got there a lil too early haha.

City Center @ aria, no speedbump and lots of lights.
 
Town Square, but has speedbumps.
 
or you can do chinatown underground garage like last year, lots of lights and space and no speedbumps.

the last time i went to vegas 2 months ago i had dinner at the china town area i saw at truck with choke people outside is that the one? fuburger?

Usually I see fuku on Thursdays in china town. 

They are in a different area for the Wednesday meet though :)

^ I have lowering springs in the front already just never installed them in the back cuz I was lazy.

Now I want to go lower in the front, and much lower in the rear...but needed the coilovers to do it.

And nah, i'd rather not cut em lol....I'll probably put the car back to stock when it's time to sell.

Alright , I am in Vegas ! I am staying at Palazzo if anyone is close .
Need to find a rental especially to get to the auto fashion meet on Saturday .
I am rolling by myself looking for new vendors so if you want to meet up at the show , drop me a line. Also if you know a good rental , don't want to get stuck with  a focus .

Dollar and enterprise usually got better cars^^^^^^

Dunno the company, but there is one at the airport terminal that has MB and BMW...they'd prob have Lexus too ;)

[/SIZE][SIZE=2]Just for clarification the meet is in the parking  lot  between Bahama Breeze and Starbucks on the NE corner of Flamingo  and  Paradise. It's best to come in from the south bound lanes on  Paradise. 

Meeting time is 8PM until 9PM. Then we roll out at 9PM.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

The cruise will head south on Paradise and connect to the 215 for a   quick run through the Airport Tunnel. Get your cameras out! We link up   back on the Strip around Town Square and slow it back down to regroup.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

We will then take it low N slow down the Strip until we hit Convention   Center Dr (just past Encore) and regroup at the Indoor Skydiving parking   lot (on the left). [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

Then we'll head south down the Strip to Spring Mountain Rd (corner of   Fashion Show Mall) make a right, and the Fukubuger Truck will be on the   right 2 lights after the freeway. [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

There will reserved parking area VIP cars to the right of the Fukuburger Truck. [/SIZE] [SIZE=2]

There is a wash it yourself car wash up the street were we meet when you came down on 10-10-10. Just head up spring mountain and its right next to Autozone (3455 S Decatur Blvd).  2 blocks up from where we met.  

That intersection has chevron, churches chicken, autozone and 7-11 on each corner.  Hope that helps.

If you would rather have someone do the work, I highly recommend this place, you can request a hand wash rather than a machine and they detail in a climate controlled garage:

I asked for a detail with hand wash and it was $35. They did a pretty decent job. I liked how they use an air hose to get all the water out of the all the gaps, taillights, mirrors etc.

Some hotels on the strip have car wash services depend'n where your stayin at.
 
If not up the street next to the Autozone.

Just got to my spot.  I am gonna relax a bit and grab a bite to eat before heading out to clean the car.  I am beat from the drive.  I left SF at 5AM and got here at 2:30PM.  I'll see most of you tonight!

Damn that was a mission, but one well worth it. It was a great turn out. Way bigger than anythin I had imagined. Y'all are deff holdin it down out there. 
Gotta say though, I'm diggin Crew45's Q's. Y'all are mostly why I wanted to visit, and y'all didn't disappoint. Job well done with the Q's, makes me wanna pack up my shit and move out there just to roll with y'all. It was awesome finally meetin everyone I talk to. And thanks for the love everyone showed me while up there, everyone's hella welcoming and offerin a place to crash, that was awesome, felt like family with y'all, that's what its all about :biggthumpup: 

And Charles ^^^ you to gangsta to be rollin on a rim like that with no tire. I seen it blow out and thought you'd change it right then and there. But hell nah, you peg legged it there like that. You got more balls than me, I couldn't do that

LOL as i said to someone else I met Mr. J because I am from Canada , we are neutral like Switzerland . LMAO.

Seriously though , when you travel say you are from Canada and locals will be so happy to help you . From surveys i have read never say you are American , British or German depending on the country visited but especially in Italy and France . Which is why i walk with my British (European Union ) passport to get there and use the Canadian one for documentation .
