i need an idea . what kind of coilover would u use for 350z to make as vip car? To make a good drop and smooth?

any good ideas

any coils will do most likely, but i would reccomend, powerbymax coilovers for your car. they will give you the super low ride height i'm assuming you want, or you can do some type of air/coilover combo if you never plan on tracking your car.

There lies your problem.. it will never be a vip car.  You can make it vip "inspired", but that's the most it will ever be.    Not saying this to ward you off, just clarification so you don't get confused or confuse other people into thinking something is vip when it is not.

To answer the question as far as coilovers are concerned, there are many decent coilovers, but it will take more than coilovers to get the look you want.  You will need to source the rest of the adjustable arms to get the geometry to work out right.

thank you yea z is not so much as a vip car but im going to try to work on it . over the winter and will see wat will happen over the winter.

stance and eurolines does not make any car VIP.  there is no coilover for a vip car.  if you want a coilover that will go low, check the Z forums.

That si generally my first suggestion on Zs but if you think it is too pricy, there are cheaper ones out there like HSD, BC Racing, Function Form, K-Sport, D2 and Megan...they also do a good set up. (i'd suggest following that order down after Stance, but i'd stick w/ Stance if you can)

Never seen a Z that comes close to being VIP...plenty of them that are stanced though.....but that is NOT VIP.

why are we still trying to make the vip label point but constantly disregarding it as lame at the same time. who cares? when a 350z makes the cover of vip car/style are we going to change our standard? cause i seen plenty of "can be styled but not vip" cars make that move. i think it's time to let it go.

would NEVER happen.  Its not classified as a luxury car.  Every car you are thinking of was at least a luxury car.  G35 has a better shot but even then I don't see it happening since its considered a gtr sports car over there.

What about the G Sedan? Im pretty sure it is considered luxury or do I stand corrected?

how many other cars that would "never happen" happened? non-japanese, lower end cars, coupes, convertables... all been featured. once there is an exception there is no rule in my eyes.
 
my bigger point is when someone comes on and says "how can i vip my _____" the response is always "don't get caught up in the label". when someone comes on here and says "i'm going to vip my _____" the response is "you're car can never be labeled vip". seems hypocritical to me.
 
i'm sticking by what i've been sayin' from the beginning. vip is a style not a style of car. a 350z with a drop and some eurolines is no less styled than a q/m/ls/gs with a drop and eurolines in my opinion. they both come up equally short.

Zero luxury in a basically bare bones sports car.  I LOVE Z's...but they have NO luxury at all, not even a little.  There are plenty of Non-platform cars that really can make the leap, this just ISN'T one of them... Even if it makes the cover of some magazine.

luxury is simple to accomplish. not that i'm pushing for calling everything vip, in fact just the opposite. who cares?

U guys seem to argue over stupid shit too much... Less talk and more action in the garage......

I agree with this too, but the Z still doesn't cut it. on a side note, I have been contemplating picking one up as a Daily....=)
