Is it okay to mount a front bumper using wood screws?

So long story short I had this shop, Harbor Motorsports in Westminster, redo my front bumper after it was cracked. They redid it and it was yellow for some reason and they recracked it in the corner when they put it on.

So after an extremely long argument about how I will not pay them until they redo it, they said they will redo it. They wanted me to pay them before they redo it but...i didn't think that made sense at all.

This time its the correct color. A couple of days ago I noticed it looked like my bumper was going to fall off. Upon closer inspect I noticed the left side front bumper mount was broken, probably when they were putting it on because they used wood screws to screw the bumper into my fender....duma.

That aint cool. Lots of hacks out there. Once you find a good shop, stick to it. Most people (not refering to you) look for the cheapest shop and bitch when the work comes out shitty.

I see what they did.. but they did it almost right. that screw, is suppose to go into a plastic piece that is square and has tabs on it. the screw goes into that. you see them on stock cars that fit the bumper into metal fenders all the time. why they didnt use.. not sure why. but obviously they dont have the right supplier of parts
