Nice. Have fun Em, I LOVE it there, every time I go, even if we don't do shit, I still enjoy it so much. Bring me some Fire coffee from one of the vending machines! I saw more VIP cars last time in Yokohama than I'd ever seen in one place before (besides at Car Friend).

If you don't get a chance to sleep, you'll find the canned coffees in the vending machines are your new best friend. You can get them hot or cold, Fire is one brand, but there are dozens. Enjoy and safe trip Em.

Got back the other day..still trying to adjust to the time :(
Thanks guys for the Heads up on coffee choices!! Im a HEAVY coffee drinker and was worried about it. I actually packed STARBUCKS coffee in my carry-on.

Ya know Im from the coffee capital of the US (Seattle) but was surprised (in a good way)by sum flavors of "fire coffes"

7 Jeans and Air Jordans! The only way to fly...

WTH? No McRib?!?! can I atleast get a free Skyline or sumthin?
I spent a lot of time in Nagoya and then Tokyo. The Toyota facility was indeed impressive. I think I kinda rubbed my sensei the wrong way..as did he with me... He asked if I liked vacume cleaners...I asked if he liked the fact that I could prolly build an engine better than most of his employees ;) Now that we knew where we both stood...everything was hugs n love after that. I went there "wide eyed",quiet and ready to learn..but I dont take a backseat or play the submissive role for anyone when pushed or challenged.

Was great to sit and talk cars with the people in charge of making it happen. They were receptive of what (I thought) I was bringing to the table. Please excuse my clothing!! :innoutrofl2:
Anyways, They actually had me put my camera away, as they dont allow photographs of the shop floor. A "well oiled machine" doesnt begin to describe the facility! I always thought that they worked like factories here and had seperate lines for each production vehicle...its all mixed up , yet organized like nothing Ive ever seen. I used to be impressed with Boeing but this blows it outta the water. I couldnt tell them enough how impressed I was. Even the Robots are polite...its crazy!
It's so organized and "safe" that they dont even wear hardhats on the shop floor!!
I'll write more and get pics posted shortly...lots of emails n stuff to catch up on.
2 more pics before I go...

oh heeelllls no, Broke ass Herro kittay knock off!....uh,thats a beer next to her! Wouldnt leave me alone till i took its picture. :pat:
The bus they sent from the airport.

I wanted a limo or an LFA...but this did just fine!

Told you the canned coffees are bomb! I'd trade Shaka Shaka Chicken for a Mc Rib any day, I seriously wish they had them in the US, I'd actually step foot in McDizzle if they did. The "limousine busses" are pretty nice IMO and the fact yours is named Emerald is icing! I like how they have "crystal" chandeliers in them and CURTAINS!

I think you don't quite understand how things work in Japan...or the order of respect. Offending them isn't the greatest way to make a good impression. And you never answered my previous question...

This isn't the dance you want to jig. Get over the past and move on. In other words, relax...
Can't you just be a girl who enjoys cars and doesn't have to start a hissy fit war on anyone who doesn't appreciate the way you handle yourself online? People can like you for you..seriously. Give it a try.
