Putting up my Previa for sale...
Looking for honest input on value. I haven't listed it yet, but already have 1 offer, but am curious what I should be shooting for.
The specs:
1995 SC/LE
- Evergreen pearl w/ tan leather. A few door dings, some fading paint on the roof & rear wing (only visible from above), but otherwise clean & straight.
- Leather is in exc cond on front seats, and like-new on the mid-row captains chairs and rear split bench. I've never used the captains chairs, they're in my spare room.
- 99500 miles
- 2nd owner. I've owned it over 5 years since 58900 miles, and have always been on top of fluid changes, including fresh Toyota SC oil
- new AC belt, SC belt, and alternator/water pump belt last year, just because
- no accidents or kids. non-smoker.
- mods in signature. tires have plenty of tread
- JVC CD/MP3/SD deck with 10" sub
- window tint on all glass except windshield
- brand new OEM floor mats. Interior is very clean, the cleanest I've seen, honestly
- I'm a fanatic about Previas, but a lazy one, so I never got around to doing the body kit/headlights/taillights like I always wanted. I'd like to see it go to someone who will take care of it and hopefully continue with some clean mods
- everything works and drives great. I simply don't need it
So, if it were your van, what would you think is a fair selling price? IMO, KBB/NADA values do not apply, as this is a unique vehicle in pretty rare overall condition & mileage, so it will likely go to an enthusiast who knows what's up.
comments? thanks

If you figure out what you want for it send me a PM... I'm in Tucson for just over a week and might be interested in picking it up before I head back to Chicago.

Ahhh man sad to this thing go!!! I still remember the meet at Dynochip when you strapped it on the dyno and it almost made as much power to the wheels as Travis' 5spd SC LOL. Good luck with the sale man, this is a rare gem indeed. I've seen it person and I can say that you won't find a cleaner one. The OP is also a stand up guy.

i disagree. the previa has no collector value and condition is factored into retail guides. if you can personaly find someone to pay the "rare" tax than that's cool but as far as publicly listing for sale i say book + an adjusmtent for the modifications listed.
$4.5-5.5k in my eyes.

I question whether or not this guy actually wants to sell it since he's not responding to my PMs.
Anyways, I've got cash in hand if you want to meet up in the next week to have a look at it.

first time getting to post in a few days. Van is sold to the guy I mentioned in the first post. :'( The good news is it's a friend, and it's his 4th Previa...he previously owned a '96, a '91 AllTrac, and a '97. Sold it for more than KBB retail. I think I could have gotten more if I had bothered to list it on ebay or other sites, but at least it's going to an enthusiast and not some random owner just looking for a minivan. That's worth some $ to me.
I'll still be respecting the van scene, just getting out of it for a few years until I need one. And then it will probably be the current-gen Sienna (1st van I've liked enough to want to buy since '97).
