Rare wheels.... What are some rare wheels you like!??

Hmmm if I had to pic barsaglio bs5 super crystal!! I have access to some bs5 19x8 + 24 all way around I can buy them all for 150 lol and rebuild them to an aggressive step lip 20 or just an agreesive 19" set but I would out those on the next car i want 98 ls400 with uas lol and I would turn it into an LS300TT =D but only if I can dump on gs or sell

Some of these rare discontinued wheels are more common in the states than some wheels that are still in production and been out for years lol.

i don't  know of many truly rare wheels. i consider rare to be limited production (model, size, colorway, etc.) not just uncommon, old, or hard to source. a wheel in current production is definitely not rare.
 
bbs prima donna seems to be actually rare (not sure on production numbers). my unicorn.
 
i seen some 24k gold gtr fitment oz pegasus that were sick (claimed to be limited edition).
 
koenigs monsters (not to be confused with other koenig models) were a limited edition, weak sizing though.
 
lowenhart lvr was limited production.
 
brabus claimed to make an 18x13 monoblock ii but i've never seen one.
 
sorry to disappoint. a list of uncommon, classic, or cult staus wheels would be very long.

It is true that the wheels I posted are still available used but not very often.  They are all discontinued.  As time goes on they get destroyed through accidents/neglect etc and become more rare.  

Gee702 very nice!  I am always on the look genuine C2.  C5 are apparently welded.

best ones i ever found were some 18s on a 300zx. pretty decent specs but the seller on ebay was new so i didnt trust buying

the impul rs/lm halfbreed is dope, but not rare. also wish the sizing was better but that's what spacers are for.

I have to agree about the Aceltion Disix wheels. I don't know how many were produced before Anceltion closed its doors, but I did not see them often, and not that they're discontinued, I don't expect that I will.

The flat caps, black center with gold lettering. There's a guy in sf that has some caps. Which 1s you looking for..
I'll snap some pics when I get them on. Mine are beat up,almost 4yrs of stlouis roads, and the ex gf had them onher tc, she curbbed one.

I am still think mine are just as rare as or if not more rare since I have yet to see pics of them on cars. For it being a production wheel there is nothing

i'll take any of the premium caps with the engraved daimands and cherry blossoms. white/black, birld/shield... doesn't matter.

I heard they were no longer. If that is the case I would buy a custom set for sure

The only thing about this wheel was that it required really low offsets, relative to the DH to get even half the dish of the DH. But the results were worth it. Very Mechanical looking wheels. Super sexy.

These don't really look that good unless they're in 20... their proportions are all off in any other size... But if you want Rare/Hard to find wheels, that's the pinnacle right there... 20" Momo Status wheels... You will have your work cut out looking for that. There's not even PICTURES online of them :smiley-rofl:

I have a not so rare AME Shallen AX 19x9 with the barrell cut in half that is resting under a nice glass coffee table in my living room :D

5-Spoke Work equips are my favs even they're not all that rare. Just the fact they're discontinued and that they look so good on a 1GS.

I think I agree... those and OZ Futura, those are some really nice looking wheels.

Its hard to find them in aggressive offsets, let alone in good condition. Memoryfab has both but nothing aggressive.

Always liked the Kenstyle Locksmice wheels.
