SR20DET powered cressida
it runs. not 100 percent finished but its driveable. needs some tuning/timing done but its fast as is.

i have a crappy little video here
http://vids.myspace.com/index....68523
I am running some 17x8 and 17x9 wheels from my wheel sponsor and should be 17x9 up front once i get some 215/45/17 tires mounted on them since a 225/45/17 is way to close up front.

Re: SR20DET powered cressida
why the nissan 4banger and not the 7mgte or 6mge or whatevers?
hell it would've been dope to see a v6 turbo or allmotor with some carbs or individual throttle bodies built with lc-enginnering.
good job none the less.

i wanted a lighter then a 1jz engine. so i went with the sr20 because toyota doesnt have a 4 cylinder turbo in rwd layout for the amount of money i paid for the sr20. I really would have loved to do a 3sgte from a mr2 but i didn't want source all the parts to run it in rwd and i hate the w58 trans since i had two in the car when it was running the 7mge. plus if i blow the sr up, I can get long blocks for cheap. and it helped drop around 200 pounds of the front of the car which makes it close to 50/50 (we still need to corner weight it) since the car stock is reportedly 52/48. it handles great now also.

Neat swap. Personally i'd lose the stickers (unless you're sponsored) and get a tint. Nice license plate number BTW.

nice
wouldnt 200 lbs off the front put u farther away from the 50/50 distribution? before swap you were 2/100ths away from a 50-50.
2/100ths of a 2600 lb car is what 52lbs? so you took 200 lbs off front now you are probly at a 45/55 distribution right? just curious. not tryin to argue.
all in all pretty nice but that dunlop sticker has to go!
that thing would look nice with a aggressive aero if you can find any. especially in black !
