VIP inspired 1st gen CL

Never really posted my car, nor do I think it's really threadworthy, but just wanted to share my little 13 year old hooptie.  It's just missing the rear lip, which will be put on sometime in March once the weather clears up.  Probably a repaint as well.  Thanks for looking!

Looks dope man, definitely threadworthy imo, don't see too many modded CLs, like Ever.  That rear lip will complete your exterior nicely, I really like how clean it is.  Anything done to the interior?

I clicked on this thread thinking it was a benz cl, was even more satisfed seeing it's an ac. Love this bodystyle and what you've done with it. Not too crazy about the wing, amber corners or front plate, myself, but the rest of it most definately weighs those out. Sick whip, way rare and good to see someone doing it up proper. Always had a thing for that car.

i don't like the wing either, but i do love the ambers and i actually kinda like the front plate too.

Appreciate the feedback/comments everyone! As per the wing, unfortunately there's no other options than to custom fiberglass a wing.  I've tossed this notion around...doing something similar to a flushmount but with a more 'rounded' contemporary flare...perhaps before the paintjob.  I've also toyed with the idea of doing a custom LED retrofit into a set of clean bumper lights, but honestly the aftermarket bumper lights for our cars have such a 'cheap' look that I'm sticking to oem amber for now.  The front plate is only on due to state law...already got pulled over twice for having the plate behind my windshield :sigh: lol
the interior is pretty stock for now except for a decent sq system, but will probably do little accents like a garson shift knob /mirror ornament and probably wrap the headliner and door inserts in suede.

Thanks again for the feedback guys, have learned a lot from this forum and my ride fails in comparison to most all of you (by a longshot), but I'm trying to make the best with what I have

I drive an acura black acura rl. Its stock right now but not for long, new rims arrived yesterday just gotta get some tires for them.

my opinion: no wing is the only option. the best part of this car is the unique trunk line and the wing breaks it up.
