quick question guys!

hi guy i just picked up a y33 (1999) and the previous owner broke off the vertical reclining piece on the driver side so my question is, how do i adjust my seats so the back piece that lays against my back move? its stuck at the position of the previous owner. is there like a tool i can use to stick in the hole or something so i can adjust my seats? thx in advance guys, mods please help me out if this is not in the right section.

If there's any piece of the switch left, maybe you can use a small screwdriver. How about a pic of what's broke?  If not, you will probably need to get a new seat switch. Aloha.

You talking about part number 15?   This part isn't listed but I bet it's under $20.   If not then there is a guy on here with a parts car...actually I think 2 guys with a parts car that you can buy it off of.  Or find a junk yard with a Y33

ahh, yes number 15, but i just used a screwdriver and stuck it in there and moved it back, so its good! thank you thought, but i have another question, do you guys have pictures of where i can remove the antenna connector?? i tried pulling the pin connector near the antenna but that wasn't the right one, and my antenna won't go down all of the way, close to an inch of it is sticking up. thanks guys

most likely the antenna mass is broken...just replace it.  maybe there is a fuse to it?   Take the inner panel liner from the trunk and find the plug...   It's possible it's linked to the radio so check your radio afterwards.

damn, freaking problems after problems, before i could address the antenna issue, my flex cable ribbon on my clarion in-dash ripped half way, any way to solve this guys? i dont think they make replacement flex ribbon cables for my in-dash anymore, i heard soldering might work but it could be too hot for the ribbon cables ..

oh thanks man, its weird cus it seems like it doesnt make a difference on whatever adjustment i make. i can only make the wiper go at a certain speed by pulling down on the arm but that knob doesn't seem to do anything :pat:

should be the first click. but the capacitor might be fucked up causing it to just go one speed.

it only controls the speed of the wipers on the wipers lowest setting, once you go to the next speed setting that controller no longer does anything. (atleast thats how i think to explain it)

thats how its supposed to be. the intermittent wipers are the only ones you can control.

oh okay, cool guys thx. any idea where i can get a copy of my q45 manual? there are just some buttons that i want to know what it does, such ass the roll switch on the center console, i tried one and the only one that seems to be working (or has functions) is the lighting (controls cluster light, etc) and wiper fluid seems to squirt out pretty weak but i think that is just that my fluid is low.

Search the nico forums you might find something there. But they definitely have access to the FSM's

do you guys know what size is the two front dome light of the y33 is? i been looking around and on sylvania but still can't find the size for it. thx:sad:
