that wasn't me. i set at ~50% (slightly higher f than r) as i always do to start out.

i got a double din that will plug right in and run the factory speakers, but you'll lose the sub.

holes are easy.

i'm thinking something like this the second time around. something dramatic, but that blends into the bay at the same time.

hey blkonblk98, you did the coilover install?
the front coilovers were all kinds of weird
pass. front had no preload on the spring and was "wobble" loose when jacked up lol easy fix
the drivers front wasnt as bad but still needed adjustment lol
i still have to get the rears off full stiff and they feel like they are also lacking preload
not bashing just asking ha ha
im loving this car more and more

they were set snug against the spring when installed, i never preload. i informed him that he should re-snug the perch after the springs settled but it sounds like he didn't get around to it. i would expect the same from the rears.

*edit - it's also possible that he adjusted the height incorrectly, since i know he lowered it more after the install (tires were too big).

i wasn't a huge fan of my ls at first either, but it definitely grew on me.

i was not impressed by the megans personally. even in your hand they didn't stack up to higher quality coilovers. we meant to cut a whol in the rear deck to make adjusting the damping easier in the future, but i dropped the ball. had a ridiculous hangover that day. they didn't go all that low either. i have a used front ss kit that will get you another 20mm up front, but the rear is the bigger issue. nothin wrong with a little droop.

that's all i have of the rear ss kit. none of the front.

the barrels will probably have to be custom fitted, unless they happen to be standard bolt pattern. honestly, those wheels aren't worth it. for the value of the wheels + the cost of rebarreling you can buy a better spec set since it is such a common style.
