someone i know got them. they seem to stretch well. i probably will be going with them since the shop i go to doesn't carry nankangs anymore. i also heard they were loud.
i'll be stretching a 245/30 on a 11. They're rounded as well. I was told that some of the guys at platinum vip run them. Not sure about that, maybe someone that knows them more can verify?

Do they run true or small?
What size do wheels and tires are you running? Pics if possible? Sorry for all the questions. Trying to figure out what size to go with. I had Hankook V4 235/35's on an 11...need something with slightly more stretch.

I heard they are a bit oversized, no personal experience running them. But as donpisto mentioned earlier the triangle/diamondback tr968 (same company) give a real good stretch, super affordable too.

triangle runs true, stretch well and have a treadwear of 380, but i swear they are softer than that.

i ran both... achilles has less noise and better tread wear compared to nankangs they wear pretty dam fast imo and is noisey as fawk after they get feathered out.. both 225/35 on 9s and 235/35s on 10s.. i say go for it cause its hella cheap

Just an FYI, don't try to stretch a 245/30 Achilles on an 11". Not gonna work. It's about 10-15mm too short.

I just purchased a set of Achilles for my Eurolines today. Think I paid around $440 shipped for (x2) 225/35/19's and (x2) 235/35/19's. I'll post some pictures once I get them mounted.

Lemme see some pics Kris!
I bought 225/35/19's for my 9"s and 235/35/19's for my 10's. Is there any particular reason why you went with 245? I had major issues last year with tire leaks and I wanted to get a little more width. I was thinking about 245's but came to the conclusion that they weren't going to fit. I've read on a few forums that Achilles run small and I'm sorta hoping that isn't the case. Guess I can try them out and see how it goes. For tires that are less than $100 bucks, it's not a big deal if I need to get more

i'm running a 19/20 stagger now so i wanted to keep the rolling diameter as close as possible front and rear. 35 series on the 19's and a 30 series on the 20's. I didn't need as much stretch on the rears because lips' tucked (barely, lol) I would like to run a 235 on the rears just so the stretch matches front and rear but again I don't really need it and plus I'm all for as much rubber on the road as possible. 30 series isn't too much sidewall to stretch, lol. bumpin the fronts up to a 235 to match stretch to rear's isn't an option...no room...hope that helps.

I mounted a new set of achilles ATR's this weekend. I went with 225/35/19 on my front 9's and 235/35/19 on my rear 10's. The ride is smooth and comfortable so far.

I had 225/35/19 mounted on 19x9.5 and 245/30/20 on my 20x10 and they were great, give well to stretch and wear forever. Due to bubbling the hell out of inner sidewalls I just replaced my Delinte D7 with Achilles because of my past good experience with them and the Achilles are noticeably wider. Had perfect clearance before with the Delintes but rub like a mofo now going in and out of parking spaces
