Gm0_M45's.. Y50 slow build thread

Sup guys... just joined the forum like 2 weeks ago.. so im sure non of yall know me.. but im Gmo.. i drive an 06 M45 Sport.. peanut butter interior.. all the bells and whistles other than the drop down screen..lol.. i first fell in love with this car when this model came out.. i was a kid just dreaming that one day i could own one... but sure enough.. after hard work.. and blessed with a good job.. AND coming up from nothing... i could say i owned my dream car.. i thank my parents and bro for keeping me on the right track..
 
i was 20 years old.. and from driving a bunch of 1990-1991 hondas to a 2006 Infiniti.. this car blew my mind.. i love it! but i dont wanna talk yalls heads off.. on to the pictures! lol
 
The day after i purchased the car!

then i just added hid yellow fogs... and decided to rock some purple hids for the low beam..

Then i finally got tired of seeing all the swirls in the black paint.. due to the previous owner not taking car of it.. and decided to wet sand and buff the whole car... whew! took the whole day on that... but i was happy at the end.
 
during the process... driver side all wetsanded.. and my friend pepe..

and this was a door after i buffed it... or was it a mirror? =P

then after that was just keeping it clean and daily driving it... little over 50 miles a day just back and forth from work...
 
i also had a 1991 Honda Civic Wagon that took alot of my time... she was my little sleeper!

then after that... no action still on the M... had some money saved up and bought me an 07 Kawasaki Zx6r Ninja.. and then that was on my mind mainly... 
 
soon after that... i bought a system for the infiniti.. my friend was selling a 15in kicker solobaric L7.. that thing hit!
 
then one day out the random this guy called me up... found my number thru a forum and offered me to buy my wagon... i was so undecisive for like 2 weeks... then finally came to the conclusion.. the wagon sits on the driveway and i only drive it every other couple of months... so fuck it.. imma sell it and start working on the M.. so i did! sad to see her go... but plans on the M are finally starting to roll SLOWLY!

i am sooooo happy with it!! after 2 years of dreaming of that stance... it finally came thru.. now its time to start saving for some wheels! =D

 thanks.... the shop charges about $3500 average... maybe less... or maybe more.. comes down to what you have.. you have stock are ride on your Q? and yeah... right now i just did it to my stock shocks... but ill be on aftermarkets soon... any recommendations? i was thinking tein flex?

thanks bro... im real happy... but yeah thats all the way down on all four.. once i get my aero kit im sure it will look a little more aggresive... and about the wheels.. thinking 20's.. 9.5 front with about 4.5 lip and 10.5 rear with 5.5 lip.. just gotta decide on which ones... too many to choose from.. i hope by income tax ill have some ordered lol! =]

about the tiens some of them (for galants) the ID of the strut was to big to fit inside the UAS bag so deff check that part out

i just got it bagged bro! lol i was just incognito about it.. lol but yeah.. i got my puddle lights in i wanna install too.. what part of town you stay in? im just waiting to pull these bumpers off and repaint them first.. then ill install the kit
 
and shit man.. the price was worth it... real professional job.. alot of detail in it.. and all the work is warrantied... so stress free you know.. im satisfied.

That's the price with the full UAS kit, Dakota Digital gauge, pressure sensors, labor, etc.

Kustomz Unlimited = Quality > Quantity...you pay for the experience, customer service, and expertise of their staff.  They're not the cheapest, but they're the best IMO.

Totally aggree!! And I'm a huge believer of you get what you pay for.. On the most part.. I've seen his work.. And I wanted mine done like that or better.. And sure enough.. I'm completely satisfied.. Even people admire how good the setup came out.

I would recommend to anyone..

im not knocking the guys at all i deff know you get what you pay for, but he has a UAS kit that is damneer the same as a regular strut bag kit. i neglected to add the price of the kit to the over all price lol. totaly sounds like a reasonable price now considering that i payed 2500 for a crappy ass airbagit kit that I installed my first go around with bags.

Car looks good bro!!.... I just bought my car from TX and have the same dreams for my M45 and my car has a whole bunch of swirl marks from the previous owner and have to do a full detail aswell but keep up the good work homie

I bought my car is Dallas Fort Worth TX i bought it for 16k its black on black fully loaded except for the rear dvd screen same as you Im in love with the car its a huge difference I came from a S2K to this and the gas difference is crazyyy lol but pays to play plan on buying the OEM lipkit soon drop it after winter over here since it gets pretty bad with snow all I do so far was tint it LED license plate bulb and change all the light in the headlight 6k in lowbeam 3k yellow in Highbeams and Fogs and LED in the parkinglight

i dropped off the car at the shop today... they told me about mid to late next week i should have my car back... gonna go talk to them tomorrow and see if i can have a supplement on it so they can go ahead and paint my rear bumper so i can slap my lip kit on as soon as i get it back...

probably just do it where it needs to be painted and blend it. no need for the entire side to be repainted.

i think they will just blend it to the quarter panel... and clear the whole side... cuz believe it or not... black doesnt match either when it comes to paint repair.. tricky SOB!
 
i have good hopes for it tho... i hope it comes out right... plus i took it to the dealerships body shop... which i use to work for and they are gonna be on point with this one and hook it up nice..

Put a ad in craigslist, saying 500 dollars to the info and conviction for the person who did this.

EXCEPT, you've been able to start working on your car. I'm in the process of trying to buy a house with the wifey so all my car mods have to come to a halt :(

haha yeah man.. pretty similar stories... too bad this is my mortgage payment... if not id be trying to get in a house too.. im lucky i have no wife tho.. she'd be taking all my money... lol im too young for that anyway

bro i honestly dont know how to tell you to get there... id have to drive there... but its like 2 streets east of victory park... the buildings you see in the back ground is the W and Cirque.. lmk when you come up tho!

I have to do the same to my headlights they are hazed in the same spots as yours.....the end results look good bro im sure it maes the headlights brighter at night!!......could you also do that to the foglights I know it tight but it would work the same way no?

the fronts wernt fitting right due to the wheel needing to be bored out.. or running spacer.. i test fitted several and didnt work due to my stock studs bieng too long and hitting the wheel before it sat flush... so we got spacers and installed some extended stucks and it worked fine... now i wanna run a smaller tire so i can strech it and maybe a 20mm instead of the 10mm that it has now

I felt the same way.. but couldnt pull the trigger, instead, i kept the M and bought me a 2011 tacoma 4x4 for daily driving and weekend offroading , atleast when i get tired of driving my truck i can always fall back on my M and ride in luxury :biggthumpup:

I dislike the rear fitment all together, it doesn't flow very well with the straight bodyline. Front look decent though.

saw this car at wekfest. preferred the old wheels man, those were $$$$$ on your ride.
