Has gone on long enough

So as most of you know I did a deal with Qfour5. Trade plus cash for my entire rear seats door panels  bulk head and rear window shade for his standard stuff. Since I was suppose to get it back mid summer it is now late Jan. Gone from no communication to be out this week or I will send it tomorrow, now over a month since last heard and my stuff to be sent. 

Based on his action, i can not recommend him to any for any kind of business. Nor should any one do that with him. Totally uncalled for, sure you need 50 post count to post classifieds but obviously that is a bs rule. 

Really not sure how some one can put some one off for over 6 months. When you are the reasonyou can't take any one in the back of your car. 

Should the shop have sent my stuff back after I shipped it there? Yes. Should they have charged him for the shipping so I can have my stuff? Yes. Can I look at his car and not think how he basically stole from me? Yes. 

Qfour5 has a lot of undoing. A few members know and I am sure it has changed in which they look at him now. 

I think it has gone on long enough to where I think I should get every piece that belongs to me and restitution cash for I have put off my upholstery guy many many times now to where I can't make an appointment till any of it is at his place which means no order of material. I was going to sell the car had some one interested in it based on him saying when the interior shows I will buy. That guy has long since bought another car. I have lost chances to pick up interior locally and could have sold mine locally instead of helping him out. 

I fly free anywhere I want too. So if it is not resolved by word of mouth to him by friends ect I will fly out and meet a local member to get my stuff shipped.

All I want is my shit back. Now I am starting to want more than that, natural after 6 months I am sure

and if you are reading this, you have no excuse on no delivery. Unless you are dead or dying

Well damn. Maybe try contacting Agi or someone else from Liberty? I'm sure they can contact/locate him for you...

Yup and quite a few thousand dollars worth of it to him. Those recline seats alone are around 1500 on market and that much per cushin practically

What can they do? I noticed Libery is scattered all across the country so they can't all really do something about it.  Not to say the person in question doesn't have any local liberty members by him but either way when someone wants to dick another board member there isn't much anoutside party can do.  What car does he drive anyways? I can't remember screen names just cars. This way I don't buy anything from him lol. But seriously, I hate hearing about shit like this. I'd give the Liberty crew or any other respectable group of people on here a bit more benefit of the doubt I'd get my stuff when buying from them so I can totally see myself falling for a similar situation. he has a f50 q45. iirc he had well over 50 posts, kouki's point was that post count doesn't really matter regarding shadiness

From my experiences and the comments from the body shop that dealt with him, hes a nice guy.  Pays on time, never complains.  I have been contacted about this situation many times.  I tried my best to help get it resolved.  From my understanding, its a matter of him being too busy.  This is a guy who would spend like 8-10 hours daily on our message forum to logging on once every 3 weeks for a few minutes.  Last year, it was exactly the same this time of the year.  Matter of fact, we got a magazine photo shoot coming next weekend and he won't make it

The non reclining seats are in 0 demand so its not a matter of him going into the transaction with a crook mentality to keep them and sell them.  he simply couldnt get boxes and doesnt have the time to ship.  Is it right, absolutely not.  It should have been taken care of a while back.  Do I or anyone else who delt with him believe that he would do this to fuck someone over, no.

The issue will be resolved.  If he doesnt get back to me or you soon with tracking numbers.  I'll source some seats and ship them out.

OP, why dont you just ask for your money back? Forget about the seats and look else where. lol 6 months to find boxes for a seat? drop it off of ups and they box it all up for you. Dude can't be that mad busy he couldn't ship the OP's seat. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

from my understanding they swapped kouki's rewrapped seats for qfour5's stock seats with cash on top. kouki should have qfour5's $$$ from the cash on top, so there's not really much he could do there.

It's none of my business, but I think the failure here is a failure to communicate. I can understand being busy, and I can also understand how it might not be as easy as someone initially thinks to ship large items. But I don't understand why someone would not be able to communicate. Especially in today's digital communication age. I mean damn, I'm a pretty busy guy, but how much time does it take to make a call, send a txt, or send an email? Couple minutes tops.

Yeah exactly my point. I am sure he see what is to be sent out every day. Guess it does not bother him. 

It's not just seats guys:

seats
rear bulk head firewall they attach to is different
all bolts needed
read deck lid and speaker grill
door panels and upper door trim as well

if he doesn't want to send any of that out and just pay cash it's about 350 a door panel on eBay and you don't get the stuff I need to send out. Rear decklid not seen for sale, doesn't matter cause I am making my own. But that is besides the point. To get rear seats I need all the hardware and that alone is more money on top of buying just the seats. 

If it was just seats I probably would have bought a set.

Rough.  I hope you get it sorted.   I haven't seen him post on here for a long time.

I am dealing with a non-responsive seller as well on here.  If it comes to it I will be posting about it here.  Paid for the product 8 days ago and it has still not been shipped.

UPDATE:  Seller refunded me in full.  Resolved.

Wow, inexcusable.........you deserve at least an email or some sort of call.  That's just shady, very bad business regardless of what his situation is.

with the fact he's been completely MIA on here and on Liberty, I wonder if something happened to him?

iono about recently, but he's definitely posted on the liberty forums well after the deal with kouki was made, and well after kouki had expressed his concern over not receiving his goods.

sucks to hear. brendan always came off as a cool dude, and i still feel like that's probably true, but thee really is no excuse for putting it off this long. if you had time to show the car after it was completed you had time to ship some seats. all i can hope for is that this is resolved (although i'm sure no resolution will be satisfactory at this point) and hard feelings are kept to a minimum. it looks bad, not only on qfour5, but obviosly also puts a smudge on the liberty shine.

It would be easy for Liberty to just drop him.  We even thought about it but we rather help him up (if hes) in a shitty situation rather than throw mud on him.  If he doesnt respond soon than we will have no choice.  He's given the benefit of the doubt because of his been contributing and supporting since day one.  We rather let him fix his own mistake and help him if needed then just leave him for dead like he did Kouki Monster by not sending the seats.  Its part of the growing pains of a crew.  Hopefully he does the right thing soon and if he does, we will continue to have his back

It's unfortunate when members promise something and do not deliver.  I have also gotten the shaft by a member of this forum.  What comes around goes around.  Doesn't help the situation, but if he hasn't made things right by now, he isn't going to.  I would expose him and alert all the forum you frequent of his business dealings.   If he is a true car enthusiast, the damage to his reputation will be more damaging then any type of monetary gain he has experienced.

I don't have a club or belong to one. We have a group of long term friends which make a crew. We don't consider our selves a club or a crew. We all know where one lives since we are much tighter than a "club" if liberty is so "tight" then each member would know where each other one lives. So one can help another. Instead of flooding the scene with hype. If there is something wrong we know how to get ahold of that person, and resolve or help. Not just write one member off for bad doing. 

I say make Liberty more inclusive rather than exclusive. If that person is some one youwould rather have round for the hype than a buddy of yours, maybe the club shoud be re evaluated. I may not be the biggest coy in the car pond. But this kinda things keeps it that way, maybe Liberty is not for me. Not that I am applying to be a member, but if no one is close to one another then it's just a hype. 

So figure it out. You have his number, I do too. He has never responded even saying to me that phone got stolen and got a new number which is what ihad but no contact. I am sure the shop has his info, I find it hard to believe that no one is friends with him on here. 

Don't do it for me, do it for the car which cannot be finished.

I use to work for a mail place, UPS would totally do it no questions asked. He must be working since he is so busy. That probably means he has enough money to ship these things out. yeah

Actually we DO know where one another lives..but it's not just around the corner or down a few blocks.  For some members it is, but not all.  We are far tighter than you're assuming.  How many people do you know will just drop off their neck breaking car from across the country to you without even a question and then leave the country?  If that's not tight...then I just must not get it?  You know I don't need to talk to you about assumptions.  Anyhow, this has nothing to do with Liberty and we are trying to assist you in resolution...I think that's more than obvious.

I'm not sure how this has anything to do with the integrity of Liberty as a whole.  Before this thread was started, I know for a fact that 99% of the members had no clue this was going on.  Why should they?  This really had nothing to do with anyone else but you and him.  Did you ask for a vouch from any one of us before the transaction occurred?  If you did, then please go after that person who gave the vouch.  How does any Liberty member benefit from your q45 rear seats?  We're working on a resolution, but don't act like we're harboring a fugitive if we can't help you out any further.

If this had nothing to do with parts and qfour5 stole $5,000 cash from you and disappeared, do you expect that we (Liberty) foot his bill if WE can't even get a hold of him?  I am assuming no, but if you think that sounds right you are in another world.  It's the same situation.  We'd do what we can.

OK, enough with us trying defend anything... Let's work towards the resolution since you brought us in to this.  What do you hope that we can help you with, assuming we've exhausted our lines of communication with him as well?

I kinda have to agree with Kouki here. I understand we are all grown men here. But if your gonna put your name or club/crew/gang/boyband/pop group on someone. Each of the members should take responsibility for the others as a member and if you can't even get ahold of him and you guys are in a club together..it kinda shows how close the "club" really is.

I hope you get it resolved though man and get your parts or money back with some type of compensation.

Reason why i am way i am right now about it is cause this: I have tried to reach him a few times. I am not on a personal level like you guys are. doesnt respond to text or calls nor pm messages. I dont live next door or in the area of him, i have looked to find a facebook page for him.. couldnt find one.

It seems to me he got what he wanted and then wrote me off, as well as you guys too. And its why i feel like i do about it.. who is this guy to write off his own team mates? they should have checked him out more ect.

You have every right to feel how you do. I don't think everyone in Liberty is guilty by association, but for sure I'd be as pissed as you are, no doubt.

Either way, it will be taken care of.  You can't get the time back, but hopefully it gets squared away. Soon.

Dude, honestly, we're all adults here man.  I think it's clear that a lot of the Liberty guys are trying to help you out.  Even though they're members, you can't hold the club accountable for the actions of one of their member.  Especially when that member went MIA and nobody seems to know where he is.  If there were Liberty members that vouched for him, I would hold them accountable, but I won't try to pin that dude's action on the whole reputation of a club........that's like picking a different battle.

Right I will remember that when I have a problem with our govener and take it up with the president. :)

What makes you think the shop wasnt the first place I checked?  I called them to see, they dont have the seats.  Even called them to have them call him but they were unable to.  The thread is up as well as one on our forum as well as countless pm's.  We understand your frustration but talking shit about a group because of the actions of an individual isn't going to make the situation better when we are on your side on this one

i don't see how he's talking shit. He just simply stated that it baffles him that no one knows where the hell he is on liberty. After waiting 6 months for interior, I'd be piss as hell and he's actually taking it pretty good imo. I know with RE, we all know pretty much where we all lived even though we're all busy as hell. Anyways kudos to liberty for putting out their own pockets if they have to, to get it resolved

i agree with this 100% 

on top of that, they are trying to help you out as best you can. you arent dealing with qfour5 anymore obviously so try and be a little patient with the ppl that are actually trying to help you out.

IMHO, I believe that ou, Kouki need to keep in mind first and foremost that you made adeal with Qfour5, not Liberty. You didn't deal with a Liberty Crew Store or Shop, you dealt with a private seller, an individual who HAPPENED to be from Liberty.
 
Now, I understand, that you are frustrated when it comes to not being able to reach him via any means, and that it's even more frustrating to know that his own crew can't reach him to get it resolved. Yet this does not excuse any form of bashing of Liberty. I am not from Liberty, and even though some of the members from Liberty are also members of the crew I'm in, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY **""SPECIAL""** TREATMENT FOR ANYONE REGARDLESS OF AFFILIATIONS! I personally, have ben involved in a few reprimands and bans of crew members from this site, including friends being banned for life, just because they broke the rules. I tend to be more lenient with regular members than with friends only because my friends SHOULD KNOW BETTER! 
 
Now I'm aware that the members of Liberty are willing to make reparations, regardless of the fact that they had nothing to do with this, and for that I would say that they're to be commended and fully praised for their honorable efforts. There is a time limit they have given Qfour5 so this will be resolved soon hopefully.
 
With that, I strongly supplicate that you all be very weary of ANYONE who sells things. Yes in a perfect world, we would be able to trust everyone and everything, and the scorpion wouldn't sting the frog drowning them both, but our world is very different from that fantasy world. I have things for sale as well and I would say to deal with me but with caution since you cannot drop your guard. I won't screw you over obviously, but how many times have people who got screwed over heard that one? Point is be careful and try to be as safe as possible. :biggthumpup:

For sure Robert, but I am happy they want to help out but all I want is him tosend it not them coming up with it on their own dime. That's way to nice. To the point that it would be hard to accept it. But like I said it's not just the seats. It's the seats the bolt in fire wall behind it the door panels and the upper window trim rear decklid misc hard ware ect. I do not expect liberty to front any of that since it is very hard to find and costly it would be cheaper for qfour to just give it up or a member to get it from I'm and send it.

I hav called a few yard that have qs with black interior and the price they want is not cheap trust me. Might as well try and source out another set of recliners again lol

props to liberty members fosho for being legit and willing to come up out of pocket, congrats to kouki for getting this in the right direction, and at least qfour5 manned up and hit him up. lesser men have just chunked the deuce to their boys and to the recipient. not saying the situation should have happened in the first place, but i'm glad to see it heading towards the right direction.

Qfour5 has contacted me and provided tracking numbers. It was shipped out today. Had a rough time finding boxes for it.. but it got out. you can close this thread as I will be updating my upholstery progress in my build thread
