Have A Jeffery and Rub My Furry Walls
Not quite done yet and not the greatest pics either, especially with a digital camera. Hard to capture the patterns of the mink and the velvet as well. I still need to figure out how to get the lining around the sunroof area to fit, decide whether or not to put the handles in, hide the audio wires, and get a major detail on the seats.
A friend took some shots yesterday, I'll update pics once I get those but here's a teaser for now. For those that don't know, the headliner, floor mats, and rear deck are wrapped in faux mink while the pillars, sunroof, and door pull pieces wrapped in velvet. Major thanks go to two of my cousins that helped me out getting the pieces in yesterday before a show and the night before. Spent 14 hours on Friday alone trying to get half the pieces wrapped and everything back in.

Damn man, I hate saying this because I love custom interior work, I don't wanna be a hater, and the thread title made me LOL, but I'm not feel'n it.
I think the reason is (just trying to give constructive criticism) the contrast between the colors and textures is just too much. It just does not seem to flow well together. But I can definately appreciate the work!!

I appreciate the input. I couldn't think of anything else for the pillars. I mean I did come up with a few different oens but wasn't sure if they would be too much. Is it the mink or the pillars that don't flow in your opinion? Mink will stay, but if you have suggestions for the pillars, I'm all ears.

Well, I don't want this to come off like I know what I'm talking about (lol because I don't, my interior is still stock), but here is my train of thought. When I look at your interior, my brain draws an imaginary horizontal line at your window sills, everything above the line is black, everything below the line is white (which is great). But it gets thrown off by a few parts that don't seem to match. The sides of the pillars (trim that touches the doors themselves), the seatbelt area on the pillar, and the headrests of all 4 seats are white. I think if you were to make those parts black (or got creative with coverings), it would complete the effect and appear to flow better. The neck pillows also play a role here, but not sure what to recommend. Another thing that might make sense, some chrome accents in the interior to match the chrome of the mini-stripper-pole thing. Hope that helps!!!!

Thanks for input. I was going for everything above the doors being black. I didn't have enough time before a show to get the seat belts done and frankly I've been lazy. Now that you mentioned it, I think it will motivate me some more to get it done. As for the headrests, I didn't think about that, but it does make sense.
For the chrome trim pieces on the interior, any suggestions as to where you would include those? Like I said, I'm always open to criticism. I find it positive when put in the proper way as you did.

I can't wait to see the interior when you're done with it, I like the concept!! For the chrome trim idea, since it's chrome (attention getter), and you probably want people to focus on the mini-stripper-pole thing, I would stick to the idea of less is more. Maybe the bezel around the lights in the headliner (especially the rear lights above the rear doors, maybe the front light cluster). Another idea, the caps on the handle / coat hanger clip you find above the rear doors in most luxury cars (or if those are gone, don't see them in the pics, retrofit those handles on there above each door, black leather, chrome caps). Another thing I might consider, playing with different interior LEDs and smoking the lenses of the interior lights so that they appear darker during the day, but still shine enough light at night. So like depending on what LED's you use, you might do it differently, shading or make a porthole, etc. Paint the rear speaker (subwoofer) mesh black.

Awesome!
What about doing the pillars in gray suede that matches the interior? So it looks like the mink roof is being held up by the pillars.

Too lazy to go into my PB. I'll get some updated pics soon. Right after I redo the B and C pillars with the mink.
