UCF20: New shoes & Tail lights mod

Spent all of my Saturday gettin' these to fit.  Rolled my front fenders, cut the rear fenders and pulled it, and maxed out the camber.  At the end of the night, it was alllll worth it.

Then I did this in the afternoon today.  I made these strips and slapped them on to mimic the Mercedes S-550 tail lights.  The base of the strip is brushed aluminum and the top black part is a black reflective 3M material.  Looks pretty cool imo.

Thanx for the props guys!  I am so glad to finally get these new wheels, I've been missing them like crazy ever since I sold my SC.  Got the wheels for a great deal from Mark @ RavSpec.  Don't get me wrong, I love my Scaras too, but the offset was really weak.  But yeah, hopefully I can get a legit photoshoot soon.  :D

Very nice! What are the widths on the new wheels? Tail lights look a bit busy but they're not bad. I like your car.

wow those tail lights came out great.   whole car looks perfect, wheels look good on the black.

I'm not sure which wheels I like better but can't go wrong with either. nice touch on the lights.

Thanx Chrispy, the new wheels are 19x9 up front and 19x10 in the rear.  Nothing crazy, but I like how much lippage I have even when it's stepped lip.

Thanx a bunch man, the tail lights, I want to make something cleaner than just vinyl.  Maybe I'll make fiberglass inserts that I can pop on or something.

Yeah, the Scaras were dope too, but it was weak.  I didn't want to deal with spacers anymore, so I went with a more aggressive setup.  Paper-thin clearance ftw.

Thanx man!  The brakes are just painted gold, nothing special really.  I've been thinking of doing something new to jazz up the front brakes.  I really want to chrome it, but I don't have another car to drive in the meantime.  Not sure what to do yet.

Looking really good homie. Cant wait to catch up with you at some shows this year.

Thanx man.  Yeah, fender work was a b1tch.  Cutting the rears was hard because you gotta cut through 3 layers of metal, I didn't think it would be so thick.  And rolling and pulling is very tedious because the fenders will dimple up so easily if you go too fast.  Even taking our time, we still had slight dimples, nothing major, but yeah, it's not as easy as I thought to do a really clean job.

i have to agree with everyone those taillights give it a very clean unique look. everything on it looks great. good job.
