Toyota Harrier ACU30 Build Thread

Hi all.. just wish to share my project of acu30.. it is a 2008 toyota harrier in grey on grey.. first thing first is the wheels.. thinking of having 24 inch dish type as i am in the vip/elegant mainstream..

24's on this car would steer you in the wrong direction.  The car would look dub style.  20's or 21's slammed to the ground would be the way to go.  Its a small truck, you don't want to go too big if this is the style you are into.  Good luck

24 is to big ... i say 21 or 22 would be nice

I'm going to run 22's on my Harrier.

Guys, thanks a lot for the feedbacks... the reason why i decided to have 24s due to my kit choice. Also based on the 22s appearance in someone else Harrier/ RX.. in my pipeline after the wheels are settled, bagged, kits, audio, exhaust

Finally managed to have an agreement to source a tailor made dish design.. now will have to think of the finish options and fitment.. as for the wheel manufacturer, will be revealed soon..

to give you a picture of the ballpark goal.. what do you guys think? appreciate your view on this

those 2 pics are same car.. it uses gialla sportivo kit all around. im goin with vertex ism front and exclusive zeus ver.2 for the sides and rear.. i also use the same assist mirror cover by wald as the car in the pic

we just got to live with it.. and be cautious of potholes.. haha thats why i opt for bags but still exploring on the possibility to ride low with it..

well now, while awaiting for the wheels and kits we are preparing the audio setup with clarion hx-d1, 3-way & subs fabulous acoustics, alpine processor, custom amps and custom enclosure. attached pics are the front staging, acoustic treatment and cable installation..

Nice....glad you gutted the whole interior and did it right.

sneak peek of the center piece.. it is still raw.. haven't been clear powder coated yet. decided to go brushed face and high polished windows.. outer finish is still in consideration..

Are you sure you can't integrate the front stage a little more subtly. It jus seems a little in your face.

Thanks mate.. it does seem to be too frontal due to the space available for the midrange enclosure as you see from the pic. however, the team got the special treatment for the front stage hopefully the outcome would be as expected

Wheels are done.. Brushed face, high polished windows and register.. light black chrome outer lips.. custom center cap with 3 bolts design..

Audio setup is 90% all the way

Exhaust is done.. customized bolt on kit with T-304 pipes with solid stainless steel 4 inches tips. Silent type btw...

aeros are done...

airrunner is up.. compressor is replaced with 380C with chromed 5 gallons custom ordered tank by airrunner

to give you an idea of the custom fitment setup from the pad size.. this is the rear pad shot 10 inch wide with 4.5 outer lips

are you going to delete one set of mirrors? looks off with one on the fender and one on the door.

Wow, this build is amazing!  Digging those wheels a lot.  I think you've easily surpassed your goals for this car.

yep def.. wald assist mirror cover installed the last.. easy bit came at the end

thanks im happy with the wheels too especially the meticulous finishing details..and i know it is hard to apply black chrome for outer lips.. i believe this set is the first tailor made design for individual so far and the modulare team manage to pull it off really well to meet my expectation. i extend my appreciation to peter and modulare team.. 

anyhow i am still unsatisfied with the current suspension setup.. head crunching again

He removed the mirror. The cover is to hide the holes without having to shave the hole.

Haha i love it since first time i saw it...and decided got to have it.. pretty difficult due to the limited stock.. it is indeed the best among others ( exclusive zeus, custom made option, etc )

For Japan version ( Toyota Harrier ), they come with assist mirror at the left to monitor the front wheel position while parking. In Lexus RX version, this feature does not exist.

I decided to remove it since it does look off.. and a lot cleaner look without it def.. when i remove it, there is a hole which needs to be covered.

it is the trunk section..

Wheels are arrived.. safely and completely with the 3 bolt chromed caps

I have the same kit but made some changes to it.

thanks man... actually all the lights are covered in decals ( oracal ) for show purpose and not to look "pale". So it is easy to change the color or return them to normal..
